"When the generation shifts again, everyone will be starting at the same spot: zero. Thus, the gap that PlayStation currently has over the platforms will be eradicated."
That is not necessarily true. If PS4 users can bring their games forward and play them on PS5 then they will have a vested interest in continuing with PlayStation. Just like folks who don't want to switch from iPhone to Android because of all the apps and services they have invested.
Golden opportunity to release an updated Bluetooth version. Swing and miss.
@Krib
Ah....didn't realize it was early access.
@gutz
Not sure what to tell you. news.xbox.com doesn't even mention it.

Aw man. That thing looks awesome
I had never heard of it either, but they are advertising the hell out of it in the US. I'm looking at some dead guys from the game to the left and right of this comment......right now.
Not just N4G. Apparently no one even bothered to review the game. Total lack of interest?

"Do you think this is the best year for gaming this generation so far? "
Ask me again in December.
Very impressive. God of War 3 was awesome.
Except it was obviously noticed. And TacticalBrit never said there were "no noticeable drops". Seems the article author dropped that tidbit in himself. Either way, I'm not going to put much stock in a youtuber's guesstimation of what the resolution/performance of a game is simply from having played it at gamescom. I'll wait for proper analysis from DF.
Who is wanting this game to fail? And sorry, but try as it might, TR will never be as good as Uncharted.
Probably the same as you along with Forza Horizon 4. Another packed fall. Another empty wallet at the end.
"he Xbox One X version was running at 4K resolution.......The frame rate was between 50-60 frames-per-second (fps), with no noticeable drops, though it did dip into the high 40’s from time to time."
So no noticeable drops aside from the noticeable drops?
Hmmm, was wondering how well TR would do without Gallagher. Meh.....wasn't planning on buying this year anyway. Too many other games to choose from this fall. I'll buy it next year when it goes on sale.......unless it gets horrible reviews.
@Jeff257
Awesome stuff. No mention of any back door deals with Marvel movies either. Just an obsession with finding the best studio to make a great Spider-man game. Not a surprise. After the IP languised in mediocrity for so long at Activision, Marvel went with the best Action/Adventure video game company in the world: Sony.
I don't think it is an exaggeration to say that the Xbox business was in dire straits this gen after a horrible launch and a truly lacking library of first party games following the Scalebound and Phantom Dust fiascoes. Outside of Forza, honestly, it has been a disastrous generation for Xbox games. Phil Spencer's promotion, in my view, was a crossroad decision for Microsoft. Either take Xbox seriously as a segment of its business or let it languish and die. Thankfully, Nadella cho...
lol......it is 9th grade all over again.
Nice! I love playing Starflight as a kid.
"Many people expected it won't stray too far from The Witcher's gameplay. "
Well that is just silly. This game, even just as a concept, had no resemblance to Witcher in any way.
I'm sure everyone would love to read where all these details from the deal between Marvel and Sony are coming from. So post the links. Otherwise, acknowledge that no one really knows anything about this deal.
MS studio bulk up show they are getting back in the fight. That is certain.
