Same here. Having to pay extra for a PC adapter is ridiculous at this price point.
"Every move Microsoft makes is considered desperation by the fanboys."
Fanboys? This is coming from xboxenthusiast.com.
"...works much like traditional phone subsidy plans from mobile carriers. A user is given an Xbox console in exchange for a 2-year commitment to the service, which comes with the Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass services. After those two years are up, the user gets to keep the console, and can choose whether to keep subscribing to Xbox Live Gold and Game Pass."
Strange how this is being referenced. This is not a subsidy. You are buying everything (the console/...
@djsilke45
Wow. That is really quite the overreach. A GTX 1070 is more than enough for a game like this.
lol.....wow. Simply disagree. God of War 3 was incredible. It was an awesome ending to the trilogy.
Should have clarified. I'm referring to the All Access part. Sony has already implemented a streaming service so that there is no "until" as far as that is concerned. Sony has no need to offer finance purchasing options. PS4 continues to sell extremely well as it is.
@81BX
PS+ is not the same as Game Pass at all, if that is what you mean. Really not sure what you are referring to.
Chances of Sony doing something like this are slim.
And let's keep in mind that this is actually a pretty lucrative deal for Microsoft. This isn't like they are taking a massive discount on the product. They are requiring a two year subscription of both Xbox Live Gold (at regular price) and Game Pass along with the console. And they are handing off the finance duties to Dell. So hard for me to see the "desperate" angle on this especially considering this is so limited in scope.
Yeah. None of them had Bluetooth until the Xbox One S version.
Well they have to know that the next Xbox will have BC. If they stick with AMD then I can't imagine them not having BC. I'll say this. All bets are off next gen if Xbox has BC and PS5 does not. That would be an epic mistake on Sony's part.
I think we have overlapping stories. It is just the white Xbox Elite controller.

LOL. Good point!
@S2Killinit
I really don't think MS is going to approach this cycle as they have in the past. These new studios are not there just for show. They are going to come out next gen with some heavy hitters at launch. They have to. The PS ecosystem is a behemoth that they have had zero success in slowing. Mainly because their focus has not been on games. If they don't change that then they might as well pack it up. But I think they will change and these new studios...
Because, as I pointed out, the statement was entirely backwards. The features are going to drive the sales and BC with PS4 is going to be key. People need to stop looking at this next gen like previous gens. The PS5 will more than likely be a continuation of the PS4 but with beefier hardware. Gone are the days of exotic architectures like the Cell and Emotion Engine. This is PC architectures within proprietary ecosystems. The huge head start that the PS4 ecosystem has this gen is going ...
The fact that each new console starts at the number 0 is not significant whatsoever. PS5 playing PS4 games is irrelevant? Are you reading your own words? That is a ridiculous statement. People are going to buy PS5 *because* it plays PS4 games at launch. If Sony comes out and says nope, PS5 will not play PS4 games THEN you can talk about how it is all reset because Sony would have just squandered its entire ecosystem. That isn't going to happen.
That is a silly generalization. Backwards compatibility is always a welcome feature, but it is most important at launch when the new generation is typically not stacked with titles. I'm not sure why you decide to ignore that significant aspect of consoles other than you just want to throw out snarky comments with no real value.
The shoulder buttons cannot be replaced without taking the controller apart. The thumbsticks and D-Pad are replaceable.
"They always take them back and issue you a new one. How old is it? "
There is only a 90 days warranty on Xbox accessories. So it better be pretty new.
If he is just talking about the "sales lead" as in pure unit numbers then sure, but the lead at launch is far less relevant than the player base. I'm not sure what point he is trying to make if all he is saying is that the number of PS5 sales will initially be "zero". Yes and so what is so "interesting" (his words) about that? It is much more significant if 100+ million PS4 users can bring all their games to PS5 day one. That sales lead will be re-establis...
Very cool. If this is accurate then I expect to be able to play on ultra settings on PC.
"There are a lot of PlayStation titles that feature or red web-swinging hero."
What?
