Hmmmm so getting Monster Hunter on Nintendo platforms, Dragon Quest series back, Bayonetta 2, Lego City Stories,Zombi-U console bundles, Wonderful 101, and now Sega making 3 exclusives with Sonic and well as Yakuza 1 & 2 HD versions isn't Nintendo trying then I'm confused !!! And and let's not forget the Fire Emblem crossover, or exclusive content in Tekken Tag 2 & Scribblenauts.....yea Nintendo doesn't try at all LOL.
A lot of third parties are just lazy......they don't won't to scale their game engines and they dont want to take any risk....they rather port a year old game, with missing features and then complain that the game doesn't sell well on Nintendo platforms. They really think Nintendo owners are stupid and will buy an outdated game that's gimped for full price. Nintendo owners are very smart consumers who look for quality games......hence why most only buy Nintendo 1st party games...

Yes Rayman will be superior on the U, but it being exclusive would help show gamers.....I can only get this experience on the U. Now that its multiplat, people have no reason to upgrade to this console, because they can say I can just get it for my current machine.
Getting a 3DS at this point in time is a no brainer if you love portable gaming. Its library is getting bigger and better all the time. The Vita, while a very powerful little machine, just doesn't have the it factor....compelling software. I can see why the author is conflicted, and at the end of the day, you have to go where the games are that have your interest.
You know what I fine with that reason being the disc weren't big enough..... I wouldn't mind seeing it on Wii-U though !! No excuse not to port it to that system.
OK this is how you make a a game like GTA 5 sell on Wii U.First actually make the game.Next make the Nintendo version have extra additional content that can only be done on the U.Example touch screen minigames.Next market the damn game....commercials showcasing the Wii U version.And finally,if your Rockstar and have fear of limited sales, talk to Nintendo....ask for a Wii U bundle pack that comes with a system and GTA5!!!Ask Nintendo to help market this as a collaboration to help sell the gam...
The problem is Wii U needs some original content,not just ports and multiplats.It needed a game like Rayman Legends to be exclusive because that game shows how to use the gamepad very well!
Should multiplats come to the U,of course,but exclusives from 3rd parties also need to be made.Show me why the U can do things I cant do on another console.
Even PS3 eventually got Metal Gear Solid 4, which showed people why they needed it.What game from a third party does...
