The 3DS lineup of games is just to dominant and that's why its just crushing the Vita at this point. Games like Animal Crossing, Fire Emblem, Luigi's Mansion, Project X Zone are some examples of games that are just very good to have on the go. Plus games that have been out like Kid Icarus Uprising, Resident Evil Revelations,Castlevania,Super Mario 3D Land & New Super Mario Bros 2. And lets no forget the power of Mario Kart 7.
And with upcoming games Mario & Lu...
All they have to do is make a bundled version with a Wii-U console and the game will sell well. Fans of the series will buy a U for it so I don't see an issue !
Oh, and have some actual marketing to it with a lot of TV commercials and a playable demo on the U. Miiverse can do the rest by word of mouth!
The point is Nintendo got their hands on this game for 2 reasons....one to have a game with Mature content on their console that's exclusive....and two, to get people who were fans of the first to "jump ship" and buy a Wii-U. THEY ARE TRYING TO EXPAND THEIR DEMO-GRAPH BY GETTING THIS TITLE.It is not intended for the kids and casuals who are a majority of Nintendo's previous fan base. EA is a disappointment !!! Lets see they have been milking their sports games for 20 years.....they have killed off many good studios over the years...The have been voted 2 years straight as worst company in USA.They promised unprecedented support for the U and just brought 4 late ports...3 which were inferior and none which even had any commercials. They have in past past supported DRM. they believe microtransactions are the future...blah blah blah. EA SUX !!!!

This is the exact problem with 3rd party games. Inferior products, no marketing, no support....yet they want big sales. It doesn't work that way. You have to show the Nintendo audience why the Nintendo version is superior....and since Nintendo never gets the superior version, they sell like crap! If you make exclusives, market the hell out of it and make it be known that this is why you buy a U, for this game!
Yea and maybe Disney should stop using Mickey Mouse as well, LOL. He is their mascot, there is never a good reason to stop using a company mascot. The whole point is people recognize it and continue to buy your product due to the brand recognition!
People need to stop waiting to buy the console....the reason developers are not making games is because of the small install base.....gamers should be buying the system in order to increase the amount of games that will be created for the platform.Stop waiting for a price cut thats not happening anytime soon!

Well considering Dragon Quest 9 sold extremely well on the DS thanks to Nintendo, I'm sure 10 can do well here to if Nintendo helps again!

Actually by buying out the remaining stock they fully own Retro. They are a seperate division of Nintendo now.Being first party means Nintendo owns them.
