Bandai Namco finally doing a decent PC port for once.
The problem has nothing to do with politics. If his tweet was flipped, opposing the ban, he'd be cheered on and get to keep his position, despite getting political.
This is just one group that doesn't want anyone who disagrees with their views to exist. No different from a dictatorship.
This is deflection at its finest. We are talking about Sony and its rival Microsoft here. Nintendo and its fans are in their own bubble (doesn't help that the majority are very casual who would never speak up).
Xbox are offering all their games for $60 whether you buy it for Xbox One, Xbox Series or PC and the upgrade is free with all added bells and whistles. PlayStation aren't. The End.
Wishful thinking.
There's no game out there that does that except DOOM ETERNAL, which isn't an open world game, focuses on high framerates and Ray Tracing is minimal.
Because most Collector's Edition buyers are still going for physical discs instead of digital in general. Also what is the Steelbook for when there isn't any disc case to display?
@dbcoops, @Suave_Langosta tell that to the Boulder Shooting victims.
Every country has its own shit, but denial is surely the best coping mechanism.
Cool story, bro. Watch out when you go out for grocery. You might not know who hides a gun or two and feels suicidal that day.
So the reason FromSoftware didn't implement any difficulty options in their games is gamers' ego? I can imagine the backlash if they did, but wouldn't that open up their games to a wider audience (a sound business decision)? 12 years making souls games should give people a hint that FromSoftware want to make their games that way. Remember how their fans were sceptical of Sekiro, being 'more accessible,' published by Activision and all that? The game kicked more Souls-veter...
Maybe ask FromSoftware that question? They know what their games are about better than anyone (hint: it's the difficult gameplay).
Maybe there's gatekeeping, but I don't get why people want to play From's games on easy. All of their games' focus is on the difficult gameplay, combat in particular. If they water it down, what else is left? There's no spoon-fed story. No open world-like quests. Lore? Item description reading, is that what people want? You are better off just watching a story/lore playthrough on YouTube.
Ah, I see you are not into telepathy.
Don't know where their evidence comes from since no one has played the game yet to judge, but people keep belittling the guy for some reason.
It feels like they're standing on Miyazaki's side as if this is some kind of competition. I doubt From needed GRRM as marketing, in particular, to sell their new game. They have an established fanbase that will consume anything they make and their games aren't exactly casual-friendly or appeal to a wider audience.
Yeesh, these comments...
You can remake it yourself *whispers* on PC
This reminds me. Where is RazzerRedux? His DF summaries were quite nice. Haven't seen him in a couple of months. Hope he's okay.
Just cut us some slack. You are a PlayStation fanboy, clear as day. PS boys care about Halo now all of a sudden. Must be scared something this good isn't coming to your plastic toy.
Just kidding. You bring some valid points, and while I like the value of Game Pass, its cheap price normalises mediocrity.
You haven't played a Bandai Namco game on PC before, have you? It'll run like dogshit just like all their PC ports.
Microsoft is a software-focused company. That's one of their strengths.
He simply wanted one of the rumored games, PS3 games reboots or a new, real next-gen IP. It's reasonable, in my opinion.
