Jump Force is selling high because they're shutting the game down August next year.
For starters, the environment [fake] concern is not valid here. Ubisoft is using Tezos blockchain which uses a Proof-of-Stake consensus, so no mining or burning energy.
Secondly, it's amusing how the author acts like Steam Marketplace isn't a thing. How about Team Fortress's hats economy? Or CS GO skins? Trading cards? They did it before everyone else, you just don't get some token to 'authenticate' your ownership.
Thridly, scam ...
What kind of weird logic is this? Both PS and Xbox released games made by studios they bought not created. The only developer created specifically to make exclusives is 343i.
It's a mobile game what do people expect?
It's kind of a shame there's so many people reinforcing these walled-gardens as if it gives them some value. How does it hurt you in any way that someone else who chose a certain platform plays your games?
Exclusives are good for no one. Even platform holders are slowly realising it and releasing their games on PC. Imagine a world where regardless of your platform of choice you can enjoy Forza Horizon 5 and Halo as well as God of War and Spider-Man.
It means they're setting up the game for future installments, something similar to cliff-hangers. A stopgap.

I don't understand all this moaning (everywhere not just here). You're getting the entire game minus the story and the Fire & Darkness expansion. And in case you didn't know, there's basically no story in this game. It opens up with the cutscene you saw in the reveal, the main character says 'he was betrayed' and goes on to kill millions of the same enemy types in the exact same rooms (with different colours) till last boss then says 'it's over.' Not ex...
You're being delusional, mate. It's okay to like the game, I like it as well, but this game has nothing on GTA (and last I checked, GTA isn't an RPG).
Wrong. Publishers ship the games, retailers pay up. The End. Whether the games actually sell or rot on shelves is not publishers' concern, they already got their money. It's retailers trying to dump the stock and get some money back.
Another tip for the unaware, retailers don't pay $60 for a game. It's usually $30 and goes up to $42 depending on how hot the game is. That's why publishers love digital so much, it's more money in the bag.
There's nothing in the game that screams 'next-gen can't run on current hardware' mechanics-wise. Their engine (renderer and texture streaming, to be specific) is just... not great. The limited texture streaming, in particular, is a well known issue for their engine even before The Wicther 3.
For example, in The Witcher 3, the 3D environment and asset artists wanted to use high resolution textures for everything to push the graphics boundaries, but only cou...
Emotional and Epic? Seriously? That first trailer barely had anything to do with Halo even.
Here's some Halo bleach:

Either "you're an advertiser's wet dream" or "you're advertisers' wet dream."
Hmmm, someone should tell these guys the PS4 was released in 2013 already. There's no need to make games for PS3 now.
Did you read the article?
The epitome of PC Gamer Logic™ right here. "Oh, you're having a problem? Here's my anecdotal evidence to disprove your bad experience!"
That's only available in NA as far as I know.
Their problem is neither money nor time. They simply lack talent, and that goes for a lot of AAA studios. This industry has been leaking more talent than it's filling over the years.
It should be the other way around, given the costs of each.
Call of Duty Vanguard, Battlefield 2042, GTA The Trilogy, Fortnite and eFootball (of all games...). How dull.
