Looks like Epona to me.
As much, um, "respect," as I have for the fine people at Square Enix, logically speaking, shouldn't Versus XIII's turn come before Type-0?
And before Final Fantasy XIV and XIII-2, for that matter?
The dragons we've seen described as "titanic?" Hardly. They're about the same size as the mammoths/giants. Bigger stuff than we've seen before in TES, but not that big by today's gaming standards.
The scale is still pretty far away from God of War, Dark Souls, or even Shadow of the Collosus.
I just hope the final boss/battle is more climactic and fun than the endgame in Fallout 3 or Oblivion.
Literally.

Zelda games have always had good soundtracks, but I'm willing to bet Skyward Sword will far surpass ~all~ the others.
I think you're confusing Persona with Shin Megami Tensei. The SMT games have had a bit more setting variation, but Persona 2, 3 and 4 all took place in modern Japan. And the first game, too, I think--but it's been a very long time since I played it, and I didn't spend much time with it.
No reason? LOLNO.
People hate FFXII for two reasons.
1) The battle system. Most of this hatred comes from simple ignorance--they fail to recognize that it's pretty much the same as traditional ATB.
2) The story. It sucks, and there's no denying that. FFXII had trouble in production (same as FFXIII, etc.) and that resulted in having a very poorly developed story, including a protagonist with virtually zero role, and huge swaths of the ...
Timeline? It wasn't a progression. Square-Enix has been garbage from the very begining. Square = Good, Enix = Good, everything post-merger has ranged from underwhelming to awful.
To be fair, this is a REALLY good year.
Arkham City would have dominated at the beginning of the cycle.
Anyway, I'll second the praise for the cast of characters. Well, on the villain side of things. They really make the game worth playing. Batman, himeself, however... is incredibly monodimensional and boring. They don't even try to give him any depth, so unless you go into the game already intimately acquainted with the character and lore, there's really ...
Art design, or the visual aesthetic, is far more important than simple fidelity.
Uncharted is one part generic shooter, two parts terrain-based platformer. Boss fights need to utilize the terrain and platforming elements of the game.
Don't forget the pathetically small roster of characters, half-assed story mode, and unimaginally shallow character creation--not to mention a visual aesthetic that doesn't look anything like the manga.
Oh--and the poor quality animations.
There are so very, very many reasons not to buy the game. Why pick just one?
He's in a few top-tier dramas (as a supporting character). The only thing I've seen him lead in was... pretty mediocre. He certainly hasn't impressed me much, and live-action adaptations tend to be pretty hit-or-miss.... usually miss.
But I can say that he's certainly not a BAD actor.
No. Batman's too busy taking half-naked prepubescent boys into his secret cave and training them. While also taking them out to conduct illegal activities that would prevent them from ever going to the police for fear of self-incrimination.
Batman has always been a little controversial, but that controversy has less to do with simple sexism and a helluva lot more to do with rampant homosexual/pedophilic themes.
Are you serious?
Have you ever wondered why the games we play today are so much more similar to each other than 10 years ago? Why the FPS has grown to define the medium? Why so many games are so lackluster, why it seems more money is spent on advertising a game than on making sure the game is good in the first place?
It's all because of used game sales. Gamestop, and similar retailers, build their entier business model around pre-owned sales, doing everyt...
I prefer listening to the opinions of random cardboard-sign carrying nutjob vagrants to those of Stan Lee.
I've always found the exploration bits far more memorable than the dungeons. I've always been astonished by how many fans think Zelda is all about the dungeons, and only about the dungeons.
Game should look fantastic. I hope they re-tool the ZOE1 a bit, though: that game needed... a good bit more work.
And is there any news on how this PSVita/PS3 stuff will work? Is it one purchase to play the game on either platform (ala PS1 Classics) or will we have to buy it twice at full price?
Seeing how Sony tackled the Vita's memory, I'm betting on the latter.
So... what's the big deal here?
It's the same thing as having Free DLC out of the box, as has been done many times in the past with games like Dragon Age and Mass Effect. All it really does is "punish" people who buy the game secondhand--and even then, they'll have the option to download it, right?
Basically, all it does is ensure the developers get some return for their work. Gamestop (and similar retailers) have been raping the industr...
Normandy landing. Only moment that impressed me.
Everything else kind of blurs together, partly because CoD programmers have such massive hard-ons for directional audio. Though I'd laugh my ass off to hear a line like, "Sorry sir! I could hear you: I was looking the other way." next time around.
I think most people who own a 3DS regret that purchase. Given the lackluster hardware, game library, and anachronistic digital-distribution system, it's hard to find much to love. In the months since I bought my 3DS, I've probably spent about 5 times as much time with my DSi XL.
The 3DS own problems wouldn't be so bad if it were as good or better than the older models at playing DS games, but it's got a smaller screen than the DSi XL ~and~ the DSi. And the DS...
