Let me be the 50th person to say, yikes. No i didnt read the article or know anything about the long production of the game or the financial prospects. This is just a gut reaction.
As an occasionally vocal part of the minority who was not blown away by GTAV (bored in fact) i am excited that they are offering a new way to play. It might make a fun open world FPS out of what was an all too familiar 3rd person shooter. Graphics are important

As someone who played every RE since 4, it was a breath of fresh (but familir) air. But RE production values are great, EW would have benefitted from more polish on story.
Reviewed as a movie , it's a 2/4. As a action horror game it's a 9/10

What's the reason? Ubisoft is a shit developer who makes AA games that are the same rinse and repeat. Even a breakout title like watchdogs was not a smooth release by any means.
