The 16x9 camera jerking in re-make HD was motion sickness inducing for me so I had to stick with the 4x3. Hoping they find a way around this with future releases
Agree with article. I dont think he's a terrible protagonist but he's not a great window into caring about the world for me.
It's effective to have a reluctant protagonist at certain points in a story, but they cant stay that way for too long unless you're writing "Beavis and Butthead" or something
I had the most beautiful dream the other night. In it, i had bought an Xbox One for the low price of $135. I was so excited this meant i could play sunset overdrive. Then i woke up and had nothing except for a ps4, gtx970, wii u, vita and 3ds
Couldnt agree more. The ps4 morpheus will run stuff that looks like tech demos compared to pc... UNLESS morpheus has some fancy tech that adds processing power to the whole situation. Im not sure how that would work though.
I bought this little atrocity called "Jak and Daxter Collection" for vita. Once i realized what a low FPS, input laggy hack job it was i asked sony for a refund and received it. $24.99 showed up back in my acct. I think your only shot is if the game is known internally by them to be a hot button issue. Even so, their email to me stated this was a "one time courtesy" so i guess i used up my only favor.

I am a big fan of good graphics. I have invested hugely and built a nice computer. So i want stuff that pushes the envelope. All of my favorite games have good graphics and those include everything from RE4 to Spelunky. Art style, graphics, atmosphere, lighting. These things coming together nicely is part of any great game. Obviously gameplay is king, but lets not pretend visuals aren't imporant and in fact a selling point of many games including witcher 3 ...
Movies routinely put scenes in the trailer which are not in the final product. And if anyone cared enough to sue i bet they would win.
For games there is the difference between a "trailer" of a finished product and a "preview" of a work in progress. There needs to be new terminology which accompanies target builds run on crazy PC's. That's what this industry owes its consumers. And a huge part of this responsibility falls on the shoulders of sony ...
Type 3: people who were going to buy the game based on early footage but now are not due to the downgrades. mind melting visuals wouldve been a day one purchase for me, but now i feel i can wait until the game is cheaper. It's hard to feel tricked when you havent lost anything.
