Never heard of this one. Sounds nice. Hopefully it comes to the west.
And Indiana Jones is the bastard grandchild of Alan Quatermain. That's as far back as I know the lineage goes, but even Quatermain may have been inspired by some character that came before him. Or perhaps some real life figure. The point is, this character archetype and style of adventure is older (130 years this year) than probably anybody alive on earth today.
I like how you conveniently don't like most of PS4's exclusives, but for some reason you seem to like every game coming to X1, no matter what genre or style it is. Why might that be? Hmm...
Currently 75% of the reviews on Metacritic are higher than the meta score itself. I compared that to about a dozen recently released games, and that is BY FAR the highest percentage among all the games I looked at. Most games seem to have a meta score pretty close to the median actually (somewhere near 50% of the scores are above the meta score). A couple of them were at like 60%. None were even close to 75% except for this one. So this game has a very high number of reviewers who reall...
Sweet! I've been on a huge horror movie kick lately, haven't played a game in while... this seems like the perfect choice to transition back into playing games instead of watching movies for a little while.
The reason he's getting disagrees is because he comes into a PS4 article and puts out a long list of Xbox games big and small, and then just lists 3 PS4 games, giving people the impression that the X1 has way more good stuff coming next year, all the while ignoring what the PS4 actually has coming.
He's interested in Killer Instinct Season 3, but not Street Fighter V?
Sea of Thieves, Super Hot, Below, Solus Project, Cuphead, D4 Season 2, Halo Wars 2, ...
The only thing the Xbox One does that the PS4 can't do is act as an HDMI input. The rest is all pretty much stuff that the PS4 isn't doing, but not that it necessarily CAN'T do. There are lots of things the X1 does that the PS4 doesn't do, such as snapped multitasking apps, and backwards compatibility, but that doesn't mean the PS4 can't do it. Some day the PS4 might do app multitasking/snapping type stuff, but who knows. I am kind of arguing semantics here. Cross...
Wow, the upgrade is way bigger than I expected. It looks massively better now! I may have to play it again with the newly improved graphics.
@HammadTheBeast: The fact is, the 360 never had as big of a lead over the PS3 as the PS4 has over the XB1 right now. And the 360 had a one year head start. That's why it's so difficult to believe the XB1 could ever catch the PS4.
I waited because I figure this would happen eventually, so I'll be happy to buy the retail disc when it comes out. It was kind of tough not to buy it during some of the slower months this year and at one point I think it was on sale and I was tempted but decided I'm going to want the disc later on and I shouldn't double dip.
As an online experience, it looks pretty badass and I'm excited to try it even though I almost never play games online. This one might change my mind on online experiences! Just in case, though, I do hope it has a good offline/single-player mode. Can the cloud computations for destructibility still work in single-player (connected to Xbox Live still, but playing the solo mode)?
Wow, once they leave the city and go to the overworld, the graphics look freaking beautiful! The city looks good too, but not as jawdropping. I'm surprised how different this looks from the 3DS version, they're really pouring full resources into a separate version built for PS4, this isn't like an upscaled 3DS version at all.
Wow, that's GREAT for this indie dev! I'm happy for them. I need to play this game!
The Saturn controller is definitely the best for fighters, of all the standard ships-with-the-console controllers for every console I can think of! I do like the actual fighter lineup even better on Dreamcast, though.
You do realize they have a game called Gears of War Ultimate Edition coming out soon as well, right? How is it any different?
The fact is, this is the first time since the SNES that one of the consoles had the lead in all three categories: Games, hardware specs, and sales.
The Wii led in sales, but not hardware or games.
The PS2 led in sales and games, but not hardware.
The PS1 led in sales and games, but not necessarily hardware (this one is actually a little debatable, but really the only reason the N64 might have been "weaker" than the PS1 is that it wa...
I don't know if it's true that it's finished or not (I doubt it, but you never know I guess), but if it is true, the article answers it's own question!
"The question will no doubt be brought up regarding why the game will not be released this year given that it is complete, but it seems reasonable to conclude that Sony is waiting to launch the game alongside the film to maximise its sales potential while releasing it this year, in a relatively quite Holid...
@Lennox, that's BS pulled straight from you know where. I play Halo splitscreen with my wife regularly, and we're very disappointed that there is no split screen in Halo 5.
Perhaps you could try to explain what you didn't like about it? Just making a comment that you think it's horrible and a waste of money isn't exactly helpful to anyone.
Wow, I guess they really liked it. Seems to be the going rate for this game right now. I wasn't planning to pick it up right away, but since it's only 40 bucks and with the Best Buy gamer's club 20% off discount, it's only going to be 32, so I think I'll get it. If I don't pre-order it, can I still get the Crafted Edition?
