Good to know! Finally a more specific release timeframe, this is great news.
Looks beautiful and the battle system looks fun, I'm *slightly* concerned about all the loading screens, but I'm sure it'll be fine. Game is looking pretty good!
Damn! Looks epic as hell. I played every Tales of game released in the U.S. through Tales of Vesperia, and loved them all, but haven't played one since for some reason (not really sure why, just haven't got around to them...). Would this be a good one to jump back in on, or do I need to go back and play all the ones I missed?
I'm loving MGS5. It's not as purely perfect of an experience for me as Bloodborne was, so it wouldn't get my GOTY, and I haven't played The Witcher 3 yet (just bought it though, so SOON!), but MGS5 is just an absolute joy to play. I just love the gameplay, couldn't have asked for better.
Looks way cleaner and you can make out a lot more detail. Same picture, just presented much better and more accurately to the art. This is a similar comparison to, for example, the same movie on DVD vs Blu-Ray. I mean, it's the same thing, but damn does it just look a lot better and easier to make out the detail on the upgraded version! I've already played this on Vita, but when I can get it for about 20 bucks on PS4, I'll play it again in its new & improved format.
Eh, it's not that big of a deal guys, we still hadn't seen hardly any of it, by the time September rolled around you had to assume it was AT BEST a 50/50 chance of actually making it out in 2015 (though I've personally had greater doubts than that). There are a LOT of really great Japanese games coming out the rest of this year and early 2016, you've got Disgaea 5, Dragon Quest Heroes, Tales games, etc. to tide you over. This game will be worth the wait!
I'm not entirely surprised, but this game looks really cool!
Wow! This one looks really incredible. It's just a PS4 exclusive, not a Vita cross?
How do you know that?
The game looks fine. It's about gameplay, animation, framerate, and controls. The graphics are *more than* serviceable, it's nothing to complain about. There is plenty to be excited about if you like the franchise and believe they'll pull off the gameplay. It's not always about having a new graphical powerhouse to showcase your entertainment center, or whatever.
You're probably right, but I hope you're wrong! The success of a brand new game on PS4, if Sega was willing to bring it west within a timely manner, shouldn't even be comparable to whatever meager sales a last-gen game is likely to sell THREE YEARS after it originally came out in its native country, know what I mean? I don't think they can expect to sell too high of a number of Yakuza 5 for PS3, I think that if they brought Yakuza 6 within 1 year of its Japanese release it w...
Wow! I always loved the concept of this game, inspired by Akira Kurosawa's work and collaborating with his son who was supposed to make a movie to be a companion with the game. This game was originally announced over a decade ago as an early PS3 title! Koei Tecmo NEVER canceled the game, and over the years they always said it was progressing in development, but frankly, I didn't believe them haha. They never showed ANYTHING of it. To see it finally unveiled is a real shocker, and...
Looking good. The game was very fun on the Vita, one of my favorite Vita games. I mostly just use my Vita for remote play of my PS4 games, but there were a few great Vita games and this was one of them!
Yes!! This will be a great opportunity to return to Bloodborne. God, I love that game! It's just so much fun. Can't wait for some more content to play!
I love the Hot Shots Golf games, haven't played one in quite a while. Is this coming west, and about when?
Awesome game. Didn't realize this was never on PS3.
The only thing is that if it was procedural generation like No Man's Sky, couldn't it basically be infinite in size? No Man's Sky is infinite in size, theoretically, right? I'm not as familiar with Minecraft (I'm probably the only gamer on Earth who doesn't know what Minecraft plays like, haha) so I don't know if that might be the better explanation of how it works.
This game is getting good reviews so far, some day I'll have to check it out.
People I know weren't disappointed by GT5. Almost every PS3 owner I know had the game and loved the game and didn't understand why it didn't get reviewed as well by the professional critics as the Forza games or the past GT games. It was a massive success and has a massive fanbase. GT6 had the unfortunate circumstance of coming out after the PS4 was already out. Considering that, being a multimillion seller is still pretty good. A lot of fans of GT5 (myself included here) did...
Looks amazing! Can't freaking wait. It's been so long since Braid, which is one of my all-time favorite games!
