I think this franchise is ridiculous, they should only release a brand new version every other year and an update in between. It doesn't seem like much changes from year to year with this except for the rosters.

Parental controls would be an easy way to give parents choice over what their children see, as well as still giving the game the mass appeal it needs. I know you can put parental control on movies but I am sure they can use the same system settings for the games.
I guess the argument would be that parents won't know how to implement these parental settings but I would argue that its there fault for buying a piece of electronic equipment for their child and not taking the time to learn ...
I agree with ASSASSYN 360 on this one. This seems like it would create an instant monopoly on the whole industry, kinda like the cable companies. There is only one provider of a certain service, it can create less variety in what they provide.
Basic economics tell you that this would probably not be a good idea for consumers, but seeing as how this will probably never happen anytime soon, people who find this appealing can dream.

Most of the comments are from fools using this as some way to bash Sony, but to tell you the truth there is no indication that they killed the animal on stage or anything. The problem is you have to keep in mind that this is mostly a user generated site. That being said, there is always going to be some bias involved in the process of approval and posting of stories, I for one don't really waste my time commenting on most of what is said about a story because for the most part a lot of the comments are uninformed and lack the logical evidence to be taken seriously.
