I look at this petition in one of two ways. Consumer involvement and cost.
Consumer involvement in that unless they recap the story of the original half-life extensively, people who never got a chance to play the first one that started it all might be a bit lost such as yours truly. It would make sense to make a remake of the original so expose a whole new audience to the story from the beginning.

I completely agree, I just wish more people would keep that in mind before flying off the handle but then again without the blowups and flame wars would this site be the same? Maybe within the flaming and petty rivalries is held the charm that keeps us coming back periodically for entertainment purposes. That being said it doesn't make it right.

There are a lot of people here on N4G that claim to know a lot about whats going on in the gaming industry. But the fact of the matter is that none of you including myself have any TANGIBLE information that this is true or untrue. For all you all know Bioshock might be in development for PS3, and for all we know Konami might be making MGS for the 360, we are just not all privy to this information.

We have some amateur analyst on this site. Its funny how people try to predict the future based on their particular bias but if you look at Sony's track record two generations running it overwhelmingly points toward them being able to make the PS3 work.

So basically Capcom themselves stated that its RE5 is slated for both the PS3 and the 360. I don't even see what the issue is at this point because nothing new has come to light.

NEVER is such a final statement, and I doubt you have a vision of what the future is going to look like. In a very short time we have gone from computers filling up whole rooms in a building to having a laptop that you can take to class and toss in your trunk.
I am sure you just wanted to have some type of impact with your statement so you chose the route you did, but next time take into account all the information that history has afforded us. Expect anything and assume nothing.

Depends on the price. The point is you have a choice to get the new maps or not, but the other updates mentioned will be up to you. If they charge $5 to 10 that would be ok I think, I am sure once the new maps are available you will be getting them once people begin to talk about how much fun they are.

I believe you might be referring to the Darkness but I might be mistaken. I didn't read anything in the PSM exclusive on HAZE that mentioned anything about TV shows but I might be wrong.
