What the HE!! is going on lately? When a game for the PS3 gets a bad review it gets a really low score, and when it gets a good review it get a really high one. With the intentions of not being pestered by a certain nitpicker who shall remain nameless for now I will submit to you all that the reason this story was submitted under the GAMING section is because if the internet becomes slower because of increased traffic online gaming and TOURNAMENTS will be affected by this. Monopolies and subsidies can breed inferior products. MS is the biggest recipient of government subsidies in the US today (See Auto industry as a past example with horrible consequences), maybe this has made them lazy and now the public becoming more aware of the flaws of their products. This could be the opportunity Linux needs.

Could the whole issue be a matter of comparison?
You have the 360, out for a year before the PS3. When the PS3 was released, expectations were high for the anticipated quality of the graphics.
If the PS3 were the only console out now, there would be nothing to compare it to so I believe there would be much less complaining. But the 360 is out, and as its main competitor people are comparing games released on both.
If someone takes the 360 at the same time the PS3 is right...

Well my two agrees tell a different story my friend. And for the record, EA does owe all its loyal fans the best experience they can offer. As the biggest gaming company and a supposed leader of the industry, they need to live up to that name.

I was born in Panama, and I can tell you that the prosperity we enjoy in the U.S. or Europe or Australia is not shared all around the world. Believe it or not there are regions that have, hold your breath, POVERTY, so what your seeing is probably a months worth or more of wages for some families. Just be glad you live in such a prosperous part of the world and don't have to deal with old technology repackaged for your consumption. Though old to us, these products will make someone happy.

Dirty politicians have been using payoff strategies for decades to stay ahead or to gain a lead, why would MS, be any different? Its an effective and arguably underhanded tactic but in the end its business.
