Seems like Epic really put in work on this title, I guess it has to be good if they are going to use it to showcase what their engine can do. I guess we are nearing the point when developers stop b!tchin about how hard the PS3 is and begin making games, who would've have thunk it.
I did leave out a few games, but my point was that even taking out all the games that weren't "Critically" received by the various industry "professionals", the PS3 still is delivering way more than the 360 did at the same time in its life cycle.
Gears was the 360's beginning a year after its release, not even a year after the PS3's release we are seeing quality FIRST party products, and I believe 1st party innovation is what will make the PS3 excel.
The Wii is innovative, but the PS3 is no slouch. If you want ALL the options of creativity and traditional gaming, the only place to get this is with a PS3. How could your girlfriend resist this stuff? She can't that how.
NaughtyDog must be doin some serious black magic to pull this off on the PS3, at least that is what some of the more bitter developers who shall remain nameless were saying.
I wonder what that fat guy from Valve thinks when he sees this game, judging from how angry he was toward the PS3, I am sure he will have a heart attack from shock and the years of buildup in his arteries.

Basically, the PS3 is different and has to be treated as such when developing for it. Due to the differences, there are new things you have to learn to tap into the systems power. If this isn't a no brainer, I don't know what is.

I like how this game is looking, seems like an excellent story, and the technology in the game is very impressive. I'll be getting an HDTV probably by the end of the year so this should look very good on that.
Sony is doing what it needs to do, slow start just like PS1 and 2, but then the gems keep rolling out, but did I need to tell the PS faithful this? Should be very good.

Also don't forget how the bots point to the last KZ as an indication of how KZ2 will turn out. The same logic can be used to say that since the first XBOX was a flop, the 360 has no chance either.

I guess they beat the new Splinter Cell to the punch as far as crowd reaction and open, dynamic environments are concerned. I guess the PS3 can do complex crowd behavior, among other things. Interesting.
What is funny though is that the way he is talking is like the progress in development that they make with exclusives won't be shared with other developers, that is the only way his comments make sense. Not to mention games like Uncharted, Rachet, and Killzone2 to name a few look fantastic.

I have no idea why people are outraged. Their track record speaks for itself, and thats a fact. I anyone goes and looks up other scores for this game, they will ask the same question "why is GS score so much lower than everyone else's".
