But you have to get use to it. America is a country of extremes, a lot of people who don't have a PS3 hate Sony with a passion. Some people cite the hype Sony had or supporting American products etc., the bottom line is rarely do you get people who are satisfied just liking their point of view but respecting someone else's.

There goes Sony saving us money again. When are they just going to make a system where bluray is optional, charge and arm and a leg for each little feature, deny that I have problem when my console breaks, and when they fix it send me back another defective console that might not even work.

Now anyone can add up what a PS3 cost and also what a comparable 360 set up will cost. Regardless of your console preference, the chart is very accurate.

You have no evidence to back up those claims, the Cell has been said to be very flexible in terms of uses. There are silicone chips in many devices, its called a flexible technology. I am positive that if you broke the 360 down to its components, you would discover that not all the pieces in it are used exclusively for gaming.

Hope they make a good product, I always enjoy SF games, the formula became a bit stagnant after a while tho. Last one I purchased was SF Alpha. Good news all around, video games wouldn't be the same without a new SF from time to time.
Allan just made a good point, but the numbers don't reflect the loss of hype of the Wii just yet. I tend to agree with you that the Wii might have a problem in the long run, but I believe if we are talking about the success of the Wii currently, assuming that the interest in that sort of technology last, then I think Sony could have a good opportunity to compete with the Wii.
In the end though, I think the PS3 will be able to satisfy the Wii crowd as well as seasoned gamers like myself...

Anyway, yea Quack, but I could have sworn I hard something a few months back about a new peripheral for the PS2, a waggle wand (LOL). If the PS2 could get a similar remote with enough support from developers, they could theoretically release all the same games that the Wii has with the difference in graphics being similar to the difference between the original XBOX and the PS2.
But the the Wii is good at what it does...
I thoroughly enjoy this game, and IMO it was worth every penny. This is one of those games that you have to play to really appreciate. Downloadable games on the PS3 are looking to be very substantial indeed, can't wait for socom.
I think Sony deserves credit for trying out new things on the PS3. Even Lair can be said to have at least tried something new thought feelings about it were mixed. I believe in the end, the PS3 will offer many new experiences such as the Wii has spear headed.
Traditional gaming, FPS, racing games, flight sims, etc. are all needed, but I think that risks benefit everyone. This generation will most likely be defined by innovation and further main streaming the gaming experience to incorp...
I must say, I wasn't as impressed with this video as I have been with others of this game. Then again, the video wasn't the highest quality and who knows the circumstances of the games that were being played in this footage.
The capture the flag video did look sweet tho, since I am not a PC gamer I have precious little experience with this franchise, but Epic seems like a reputable company, and seem to be putting a lot into this product.

He predicted KZ2 wasn't going to live up to the graphical standards of the trailer, he predicted that MS would have the most reliable system ever, he predicted Halo would turn the 360 tide in Japan and he predicted Shadowrun would be the best online only game on the 360.......
