I think the current criticism is that there is very little information coming out about this game. The first KZ was touted as a Halo killer by the media and that stigma has stuck with this game ever since though I have yet to see an article where GG stated that KZ1 was a Halo killer.

That even if KZ2 is delayed, there tech and expertise getting top performance out of the cell that they are gaining will be invaluable going into the future of the PS3. I doubt all the cost associated with KZ2 is all game development but rather R&D that will affect the PS3's toolset for years to come.

While I do agree with the point he is trying to make, it goes without saying that Sony is no noob when it comes to the video game industry. I am positive that if this in game XMB is implemented it will be in a way that is as seamless as can be. I am sure they know what they are doing if they say they are going to implement something, they are well aware of the memory requirements and what not.
