You are just looking for anything to detract from this. I tried not to take any of your bubbles, but your views are really ridiculous. You have got to be either A)Just scared Sh!tless of what HOME will mean for the 360, or B) Just the most negative person in the world.
Your rants are based on nothing concrete and are just a bunch of ill informed nonsense. Just stop typing man.
HOME is not mandatory, so if you don't want to go into it you don't, but just like you said it will appeal to younger audience. I think Sony is trying to make the PS3 appeal to many different types of customers. Let say you have a home with someone that is a hardcore gamer around 25 to 30, a teenager and a young child.
Sony seems to want to appeal to all these people with eye of judgement, the PS eye, etc for the young child. HOME and the community features for the teen and games...
But how many things of the 360 that are far more expensive for the consumer to add can we say should have been included.
I would rather buy a 3rd party headset of my choice than be forced to buy an overpriced proprietary HD any day.
Its funny wow, how you talk about people having to buy things to use features, but you seem to forget that the 360 is the king of making people add things after they think they are all set, i.e. Burnout Paradise.
With the PS3 you can use ANY 3rd party peripheral you want and if you have a cell phone with a bluetooth headset, guess what, you have voice chat on your PS3.
Wow, LOL, give it up. First its the installation that people try to make a big deal about, now its ...
This guy sounds like some of the worst 360 fanatics that frequent this site.
While I embrace intelligent speculation about the success or failure of a product, his rant omits many key facts that basically ruin his ultimate point about home.
While the hardware sales are still up in the air, I would say that the PS3 is doing very well given its initial price, and the slow start it experienced. At the end of the day, I believe that anyone that takes a serious look at th...
And a lose, lose for your wallet. Why in the world would you get both? Doesn't make sense but I'm sure Rockstar will thank you.
What happened to you bro, I remember you would take the opportunity to bash Sony at every turn, then I didn't see you a while and now you lean more toward Sony. Not that I mind, I'm just curious to know what took place???
Wow, that really stopped you from getting the PS3 version? You must really lead a busy day if every single minute is busy doing something. You know your logic is ridiculous bro, give it up.
I have a PS3 and I found this amusing, there is no reason for any PS3 owner to get upset.
Just think of how desperate holding onto to a one time 20 minute installation sounds. And someone else talked about space being an issue with game installations on the PS3, last time I checked I can easily upgrade my PS3's HD with ANY HD for a lot less money than the competition.
Its just funny and also sad the things people hold onto in an attempt to detract from the PS3, first...
Take that EA.
When Sony is once again poised to trounce the XBOX brand with the PlayStation. Not to mention they would inherit MS's reputation for inferior hardware. I don't think this would happen, Sony would have too much to lose with MS's dead weight.
Now Sony buying Nintendo would be a match made in gaming heaven.
People are really impatient and just seek to turn everything into a negative. If you can't wait 10 or 20 minutes for a ONE TIME installation, then your parents seriously failed in your upbringing.
Its one time, and its how the PS3 functions depending on the game. I seriously doubt that any real gamer would allow a one time installation deter them, it will become the norm and fools such as the one that put this article together will find something else insignificant to complain ab...
I just gave up and began playing CoD4, and that connected smooth as butter. I'm too lazy to deal with Capcom's year and a half old 360 leftovers. Bring on MGS Online please.
Even if the game itself doesn't appeal to you, it is undeniable that Sony is really trying to bring some variety to their library. I think this game has a good chance of taking off, and there are some really talented people out there who will go to town with the level editor.
As I have said before, the Wii has some very interesting innovations as a gaming console, but in terms of power and innovation I think the PS3 is the way to go. Can't wait.
No self respecting gamer should be without experiencing the full scope that is the MGS saga, a moment of silence to our fellow gamers in Australia, god speed and I hope they change their mind.
Sorry XBOX owners....
But they are shooting themselves in the foot. Unless they straighten up and fly right when it comes to the PS3 they will have some serious backlash if it hasn't already happened.
They have never gotten any of my money but I am sure that many people are upset at EA's performance as of late.
Interesting statements. I wonder why just a week ago I believe it was the president of EA stated that he liked the results of Burnout Paradise and that it makes more sense to lead on the PS3 then port to the 360 for multi-plat games.
Albert Einstein defined being crazy as doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results.
My question would be if they know that leading on the PS3 yields better results for all formats, and I am sure they don't want to lose busines...
Not sensitive, just setting the record straight.
Your initial comment can be construed as you eluding that the PS3 has no games, and I was just pointing out that your argument is tremendously flawed at the least.
If that wasn't your intention then I have said nothing and you really need to look over what you write if you don't want people to correct you. Other than that I love my PS3, I have all the games coming that I want and a few I am sure you want, LOL. Mine has been working ...
But in his most recent interview he also said that he was done with the $10 games and that sounds like he is directly talking about PSN. Either way, this is one of the most consistent series on any system in terms of quality and fun so I wouldn't be too worried about the end result.
who seriously doubted this? FPS have become a staple to showcase what a next gen game should be, and it goes without saying that the PS3 is very well equipped to handle them.
Most of these games haven't been released, but the claim that the PS3 can't handle beautiful visuals and excellent game play should have been dispelled a long time ago.
