HD-DVD and BluRay are both stupid. I have broadband, and if I want high-def (which I don't), I'll just download it at this point. Screw both of the formats.
Which is why I'm glad that, with 360, I don't have to invest in either.
Heck, I still have zero plans on getting an HDTV even remotely soon. Screw "high-def" altogether for the time being. Until people start actually dropping support for SDTV (or prices on HDTV), I'm not spending the $500+ it would ...

Little bits like the irreplacable battery without support from apple, meaning if your battery croaked, you had to buy a completely new iPod because the company designed the battery to be irreplacable.

It's an incredible little game- one more reason why the Dreamcast was the greatest system that never took.
Microsoft has room to talk about a next console though- they're CLEARLY not going anywhere in this race. Their pockets are too deep, and the execs show no intention of letting up, and they've gone from an upstart to a possible #1 contender in just oen generation. Nintendo, too, is very comfortable where they are and they're not going anywhere.

Direct downloads are the future of the medium. WTH is the point of the DVD format wars, anyway? Both Microsoft AND Sony already have plans to put movies and games into downloads instead of optical discs.
Save your money- skip the next-gen DVDs and just download your media.
Too bad the developers already went public with the fact that they're still just building the engine that will someday be used to make the game, thus meaning all these "trailers" are complete works of fiction.
Ah-well, it's worked for 'em in the past.

Point is: Everyone's freaking out about how amazing this game looks... it's basically just on par with other (current) titles.
Immersion has already agreed to do this as soon as Sony gives in and admits they lost the lawsuit, and assuming they stop litigating the result.
So yeah, it could be done.
This game doesn't look any better than, for example, PGR3.
