You mean like they did with Killzone 1?
How about another?
THIS IS NOT A POSTER.
The original screenshot does NOT have the first-person gun on it. At all. That Photoshop was craeted at the NeoGAF forums to fool you into thinking this isn't a real Killzone2 screen.
One last time, sing it again:
THIS.
IS NOT.
A POSTER.
The "poster" stuff was photoshopped on over at NeoGAF.
The actual screen is an actual in-game character model. The "piece of tape" and all that jazz were photoshopped on.
Something like a 3-year warranty program that fixes and ships yoru console for totally free, as well as refunding you your money if you previously got a fix before the coverage? Like that?
[Update: There's at least one image (right here) on GSB's flickr site that's showing four 360 models. But when zoomed in, the far left console appears to be white. So, is it gray or white? And what is it? We just don't know. Thanks for the heads up, Cyrus.]
^^^It was just the lighting.
The Killzone devs have confirmed this screen is actually totally in-game. The "poster" thing is a Photoshop from a Sony-defending fanboy at NeoGAF.
So it's been in development for 2.5 years, it's supposed to be coming out this year, this screenshot was taken Saturday, and there's no problem there?
Does no one actually read up on issues before using?
-Some Xbox 360 drives lack "bump pillows" which avoid scratches if the system is tipped over or unstable.
-This is totally normal for certain drives, and if you don't tip over, jar, etc your Xbox 360 system, you will not recieve scratches (except in a theoretically tiny number of systems where the drive could itself be unstable, but again this would be a small fraction of users and again is a normal part of the manuf...
Good point. This would make Epic racist against black people (despite Cole Train being one of the most badass characters in the game), yet also one of the most un-racist because of their Hispanic co-star? Makes no sense.
Bubble for you.
-Microsoft adds HDMI, 6x the storage space, and a kickass black case, then get nothing but bashed in the media.
-Sony adds a fraction of the storage and a game that's already dipping so low in interest that the online mode is barely worth playing anymore, in the process negating their own price cut by changing what SKU is at the $599 slot, and they'll probably see nothing but roses.
...if Microsoft follows suit with drops, they might put the Elite SKU into the $399 slot. Imagine if a consumer sees:
-Xbox 360 Elite
-120GB hard drive
-$399
-Playstation 3
-80GB HD
-$599
...where the hell is that $200 going? Even if people are interested in WiFi and/or HD movies, 360's HD attachment is probably also going to drop in price soon, and you can get wireless adaptors (or just a wireless router) for relatively...

Let's hope they use this shovelware to dig up some good titles.
Why do people always whine about 360 games going to PC?
Is God of War not exclusive anymore because it's on PS2 and PSP?
Heh. That's a laughable quote regardless- how many series (FF, GTA) do we KNOW that Sony has tried to buy exclusivity for?
Slightly more on topic: I still don't care about the DVD war. Regular ol' DVDs, anyone? Yes, please.
MS steps up to the plate, initiates the largest and most expensive consumer warranty program in human history, and it's nothing but b***ing on all fronts.
Come on, people. Regardless of your affiliation, this move is incredible news for all gamers.
Article says "Michael Wolf"....
Like other stories getting posted to dis 360 today, I'm sure nobody has any idea who this guy is either.

How is a $1billion warranty program a betrayal? Interesting.

What response does Bungie need?
"Killzone 1 was mediocre at best. Comparitively, Halo and Halo 2 were the best-selling and highest-rated console shooters in history. End."
There, I made a statement for them.
