Nothing Amazing i saw it for as low as 7usd the first time it was on discount on Steam that was about 1.5 years back.
This will be worth picking up when its sub 15usd on a Steam discount.
KZ3 will be wearing the graphics award when it comes to console. The overall graphics crown belongs to Crysis 1 on PC and Metro 2033. Maybe Crysis 2 will bring something new to the table if it hasnt been compromised.
Lets not under estimate Nintendo here, all of us remember what happened the last time around. History has a way of repeating itself.
3DS may not be as powerful as the NGP but it will certainly be cheaper. We know the masses are very price sensitive.

You are only refering to Sony here, the gaming world doesnt revolve around them. I am sure you wouldnt like to see MMOs from Sony alone. You would like to see some veriety and thats healthy for the market too.
All the restrictions i mentioned do apply when any developer not owning the console wants to make an MMO.
Same could be said for multiple console games that were previously PC exclusives.
Original base gets shafted for a new base. However here MMOs have always worked better on PC. There are many limitations going to console:
Microsoft and Sony need to Validate everything(MMOs need constant patches and upgrades, PC being a open platform gives freedom and access to the dev to apply patches anytime they like).
Console makers may demand a cut ...
This is the reason i dont game on console too much control from the maker. They wont win the war anyways, it will be another PSP, hackers will always find a way to crack it.

In comparison to Consoles certainly.. GTX 580 in SLI probably already is 20x as powerful:P

Gaming can be Cheap if you are smart with it. Some of the games i bought last year on Steam discounts:

Darksiders: 10usd

Crysis 2 on console is running at 720p (which reduces alot of the burden). Next it hardly has any AA. Also it looks like its running on med settings(crysis 1).
Given that console hardware is about 5 years old, i think a 5yr old pc should be running crysis 2 in simular settings.
Yes PC gets an update every 6 months lol we know. but even if you equipped a pc with a 3-4 year old gpu like 8800gtx it would be running crysis in high settings 1080p. 1080p is something consoles are yet to manage for any first person shooter.
Its actually gotten to a point where newer powerful gpus now are only needed if people want to be playing on multiple screens. Otherwise 2-3 gen old gpus handle most games just fine at 1080p.

We hardly have the games to make use of GPUs like 4870 or GTX 260, those run pretty much any game out today maxed out.
That really depends, if there are no next gen consoles until 2016, you can expect a GTX 260 or HD 4870 to be playing games in 1080p max. Since there wont be any progress in graphics, unless you want to be playing on multiple screens.
Its been pretty pointless upgrading GPUs since the last 2-3 years.
Lol 20usd for the game + all DLC is insane. Think my friend bought that game for 14usd. Still both are great bargains ;-)
If Alan wake would have released on PC, i am sure Steam would have played a big role in making the game a success. Steam just know how to move software.

why isnt the game running in 1080p on the PS3? Looks like you are plain butthurt. Oh wait there arent any First person shooters on the PS3 running in 1080p, even its own exclusives.. So much for da cell lol.
They intended to replicate the success of COD, however there isnt another FPS on the market which has done that.
They might not play for 3 hours straight, but they certainly wont like recharging after every 3 hours of play either.

Agreed Steam discounts are temporary, however they are also the best option to pick up these games much sooner (then having to wait 2 years after release) and at a much better price.
