Well tbh i been using windows 7 since its launch(i have never reinstalled it), i cant recall if my computer has ever crashed ever since the first install its that stable. Stability wise i would place it above my friends console.
I currently use steam, which means all my games are installed on the PC, there is no such thing is as removing disks and getting another disk to play the next game i wanna play. Its basically point, click & play. I find that alot easier then co...
PC gaming platform is the cheapest to game on despite what most people playing on console may say.
People think Consoles are cheap because they always end up comparing the initial purchase price, however they forget the hardware is pointless without the software. Since console games launch at a higher price and stay there for a long time. For anyone who is a serious gamer and wants to be playing 1-2 games a month PC is easily much cheaper in the long run.
@Hellsupernova
I have a good gaming PC, Me and a friend bought Portal of Steam for 40usd as a package for 2.
Thats 20usd saved for each of us. When we have the PC version which will look better then PS3 version there will be no reason to play the PS3 version. I would take 20usd saved over a copy of a game i wont use anyways.
Not hard owning 2 ps3's one for online another for SP games, though yea new games wont be playable.
"PC retail may be a big problem, but PC downloads are awesome. ... The margins are much better and we don't have any rules in terms of first party approvals."
So when a platform offers you such freedom(you dont have to bother with MS and Sonys royalties or rules) and it offers you the best possible margins in the industry, why screw over its base by increasing prices to 60usd?
I am sure a GTX 460 will be more then enough for this game. Its easily 4-5 times more powerful then any current console and like Ranshak said costs only 150usd now. The Higher end GPUs will still be largely unused in this game unless used for multi screen gaming with high amount of AA.
"It wasn't until the argument that PS3 was more powerful than 360 was ended that all these PC fanboys came out of the woodwork... gee I wonder! "
Gee 30million PC gamers on steam alone as of Jan 2010.. They are gonna turn up at some point when PS3 gamers spout crap the way they do.
PC is the ultimate gaming platform. Anyone not having a gaming PC is seriously missing out. To begin with it doesnt take much to have a gaming PC for most folks anyways. Most people are 150-200usd away from transforming their standard home PC to a gaming PC all it needs is a GPU.
PC provides the best possible gaming experience for 90% of the games releasing on the market today IE all the multiplats. Then it does FPS, RTS and MMO better then any console can. Not only does PC...

/laughs at uninformed idiot :P
/points at Steam
No problems so far.
Really dont care, Crysis 2 and BF3 will both be graphical benchmarks on the PC. Ill be buying both of them.
Coach :"Now that sounds like a PLAN" :P
@Focker420
I dont own a PS3 hence the question, do you ever see 256 people all at once dishing it out in Mag? if that doesnt happen then its a moot point.
Also several people are pointing out Mag looks crap, hence unless you want to make BF3 look crap on the PS3 i think the PS3 is limited hardware wise and its not the 360 holding the PS3 development back, if that was the case then the PC would have been held back as well.
Dont think you can import save files to DA2 as its got its own character etc, hence your older file isnt needed.
Well the PS3 is also very old its 5-6 years old tech, I guess your PC must be older then that time?
The first one was a different game on the PC. If you consider gameplay then Console version of the 1st one were hack and slash, PC version you needed use strategy.
Been a PC gamer since 1995, Snes was the last console i really gamed on. Well i did buy PS2 just to give it a try, but it simply didnt interest me, only game i liked on it was GT3 thats about it.
You mean to say actually support a game they launchd just 6 months ago? Lol this is EA. They would rather launch a new game charge for it, leave some stuff unfixed so they can make another release a year later.
Yep i saw my brother playing it on the PS3, game was so small barely 4-5 hours. I am personally a PC gamer, I saw the game up for sale on Steam for 5usd and still didnt pick up this garbage.
@warprincess
nice try trolling, If PC is a minority then explain why BC2 is being played more on PC platform then any other platform.
As others have said Mag isnt an example since the game looks last gen. Resistance 2 doesnt have destructable environments and in multiplayer it doesnt look good either.
