For the people worried about console graphics for BF3, all you have to do is play Bad Company 2. That gives you somewhat of a preview since it will be better than BC2 by a bit and BC2 on consoles already looks great.
Easy way to stop caming is if you stay in the same spot for 30 seconds you instantly die. /s

If you actually read the article you would see that it isn't a "scare article". The writer did a great job in going into detail about why violence is in games and why many enjoy violent games.
Sony should just allow people to choose from several designs to best fit what people like if they do update or change the current set up.
Just finished the demo and while the game looks nice(ran it fully maxed out at an average of 55fps) and handled well it doesn't seem to have much depth. Each gun seems to have 3 upgrades and overall there are 20 weapons..
The cut scenes/previews basically showed that you'll be stuck shooting the electrical outlets to shock enemies over and over and not much else game play wise outside of the corridor of robots you plow through.

I somewhat agree. For great MMO's that pump out content and have a good game I dont mind paying 5-10 a month. However for average mmo like games(Like World of Tanks) the F2P model is great. I would have never touched World of Tanks, Dofus, or an older game like Shattered Galaxy if they didnt have a F2P model.
Same.. I have a 120gb SSD but I think I will keep it on my 1tb drive. I usually keep 1 game that I am playing currently on my SSD and then move it over to my 1tb drive when I am done...But I'd rather not fill it entirely up with 25gb(since it has roughly 40gb of free space for gaming).
Both look pretty much the same besides the difference in light/dark colors that are seen in most multi-platform games for the 360/ps3.
Sure, there are a few minor differences graphically between the two. But nobody will notice the difference unless you are that hellbent on fighting over a few different pixels.
If you already have a franchise that is geared towards a certain market(like KZ and KZ2 were) then you shouldn't drastically change the game(dumb it down) for the casual market.
If they released a different game than KZ2 that was more casual then I am fine with it, but changing a franchise and upsetting the fans who supported the franchise is bad business.
I loved the KZ3 SP and enjoyed KZ2(one of my most played MP shooters this gen), however the changes they made to MP were horrible. Without a doubt GG or Sony wanted to tap into the "CoD market" by making the game more noob friendly and less unique(for example taking the six axis balancing out of the sniping scope).
Good idea for them, but I think they forgot that it would upset their fanbase and that the mainstream market does not generally buy these types of games...

Loved the first Borderlands, but I will probably do what I did with the first and wait for the GoTY edition/bundled DLC pack to buy it when it gets cheap.
You do know that on many deals like this(not exclusive to the gaming industry), the company actually looses money and pays the developer/supplier "X" amount of money for each copy sold?
For example for ever Batman: AA copy sold for $.99 the developer would receive $5 in return from OnLive.

If you are tired of the same thing, then why would you want them to release a game like something that you already played before?
Looking forward to seeing how my PC handles this. Recently built a new computer for BF3 with a GT 560 TI and a Intel Core i5-2500K 3.7ghz quad core cpu.
Don't think I will be able to "max it out" but hopefully it will look great on high settings.
Well SP is 6 hours and then Co-op is an entirely different story, so essentially the story between both will be 10-12+ hours.
Either way I don't see it as a big problem, BF3 is all about the MP and the SP is just there as a tutorial(at least in my eyes). I didn't even touch BC2's SP.
@Klaykid123 BF3 actually does have a Iphone/Ipad version coming out.
The game still needs a lot of work. No harm with pushing it back.
