Customization is far more important in RPG titles, that's for sure- i'd say it certainly enhances and adds a personal touch to any main character, now of course there are those heavily directed characters like Geralt of Rivia, Nathan Drake etc. that just wouldn't be the same without their tell-tale faces, but there are plenty of games that could work better with the ability to customize.
Assassins Creed games for example- rather than having to make painfully ann...
No one seems to be mentioning the reason they gave originally as to why they can't (or won't) implement mods on PS4: The 900mb limit, on xbox it is a 2gb limit which is obviously far less restrictive and for the most part would allow the majority of mods available, if the mods are managed by Bethesda and in turn the sizes and such, allowing for *every* mod they green-light for the library to work for every system is a must isn't it?.
They absolutely (and rightly...
I like this addition, as long as it's done better than Spike Lee's NBA story i think it'll be good.. the be a pro game mode is really rubbish overall.. nothing immersive in it at all, so i love this idea that it's gonna have a story and actually give you a reason to try this out.
Other than that i pretty much just play manager career mode in Fifa games, i go nowhere near UT, just pisses me off they put most of the dev time into that nowadays...
Going to be really hard to play on Xbox One when it's a PC exclusive currently :D
He doesn't work for Overkill (Payday 2 dev team) anymore.. so not sure what you're trying to say here :/
Completely agree with this assessment- So disappointing to see such an incredibly unique series of games rounded off with generic crap (in comparison).
It's not an awful game, but in the same way most games are marketed to *everyone* these days (*cough* Fallout 4 *cough*) the personality and soul of many games are dying out and it's a sad sight to see.
Problem that everyone seems to forget is that Bloodborne was an exclusive; thins out the amount of people that would vote for it by a long way, you can't doubt the quality of it but if everyone played and enjoyed something else, i can't see Bloodborne as game of the year.
Gonna have to disagree there, MGS5 was the biggest of disappointments in gaming i've ever had.
The gameplay itself was great and a perfect evolution for the newest iteration of the series.. but they lost the plot on this one, what happened to the soul of the game? as a huge fan of the series i failed to see any hallmarks of a classic Kojima game.
Cutscenes non-existant, story elements hacked up, notable characters nowhere to be seen, camouflage?, i found ...
I'm gonna say it again and again until i probably get bored of saying it, but DICE missed a beat on this one by not expanding on the Galactic conquest mode that was in SWB2, add narrative options that tie in with the movies, base building on planets, upgrading troops, modifying your vehicles etc.
I'm sure DICE will add in the first 3 episodes.. as DLC :/
@_-EDMIX-_ it's important to note that it's been almost 10 years since the release of SWB2...
Why can't we get a good gladiatorial game like the old days- something like Gladiator: Road to Freedom? or Gladius? If anyone mentions Ryse i'm done :D
When i played the game nothing was "broken", it was just very dull- only one map was available and no class customization, no hero characters and the like, of course that'll change in the beta and full release but i guess if you like other DICE games this won't be very different.
At the end of the day if you like multiplayer shooters it might be good, but the co-op isn't worth it on its own, at least not what i played of it and i'm not sure there eve...
Too bad the PC version is utter trash... but what can you expect from Konami eh :)
Best way to fast travel is taking all of the camp delivery manifests- should be a big brightly coloured platform in each of the bases, simply "box up" on one of these and choose a destination; you must have collected the note in each camp before you can fast travel to the respective place though- might alleviate your issue somewhat :)
I'd like to mention that the repetitiveness isn't *that* much of a flaw but it doesn't feel like an MGS game due to the l...

The game has Single player sure, but all it'll be is a (frankly) half-assed here is the same MP game but instead of players horribly made AI bots.. not much of an upgrade is it?.
Let's compare Battlefront 2 to this game shall we? Space battles- which is the inclusion of ship to ship combat as well as IN ship combat at the same time, that is a bonafide Star wars battle, not just a random dogfight here and there.
I reckon it's not...
The Alpha test convinced me nothing about this Battlefront is awesome, and as (some) people have pointed out; it looks like a reskin of Battlefield- and i'd agree with that for the most part.
I don't agree with their MP only route, no space battles (at least at launch) no Galactic conquest mode; which happened to be the best SP and co-op experience of the series, and i think what is most disappointing- the lack of innovation and creativity, sure it's safe; but for...
I must be missing something here, the only things you can buy using "crowns" are cosmetic items.. are you sure you're talking about ESO?
has anyone here actually seen the gameplay for Ryse?
i could think of a hundred ways to make a Rome set game so much more effective than a QTE game... button mashing is not the future...
In general terms guys, i should have actually said i'm just extremely happy to see MGS on PC is all...
Mid range rigs could easily be compared to the next-gen consoles, and i look forward to playing it on PC, the reason Kojima must have approved it is due to the similar architecture, and when exclusives go multiplat, thats a win for PC gamers.
Console gamers don't realise a lot of amazing games never make their way to PC, and PC gaming in general is g...
I'm surprised... why hasn't anyone mention how fucking good it'll look on a high end rig? oh wait that's right MGS is now on PC! Fuck yeah Kojima!
It makes better financial and long term value if the game is a multiplat- unless Nintendo made a ridiculous offer, as a gamer it'd break my heart if it was an exclusive; everybody should get a chance to experience such an amazing, one of a kind game's sequel.
