It's actually more common that games are utilizing a fuller extent of pc gpu's (and cpu's) these days with the DX12/Vulkan api- The X's gpu is probably closer to an AMD RX480 or so with some more Vram, less mhz but faster bandwidth.
Point is, the general idea of pc games being poorly optimised for gpu's is an old fashioned one, especially when consoles are getting ever closer to using the exact same components with the same architecture on the same api&#...
Ark is a trash game with useless devs anyway, no point worrying about their misadventures in optimising it for any platform.. that being said Horizon is upscaled from 1080 using checkerboarding to 1800 and from there they do the same to create a dynamic resolution. there's very little difference between 1800 and 2160 anyway.
All pc games are automatically poorly optimised.. ok then.. Most games that use the newer Vulkan/DX12 api are known to run very well and take advantage of the horsepower within pc's these days.

yeah it would have an extra gb of dedicated ram to the gpu side of things, it just depends on how much of a bottleneck the cpu will be, but then, at the price it's clear what most of your money will be buying in the XOX

Honestly i disagree, looks really generic as far as these types of games go, graphical presentation wasn't even among the top of E3 thus far.. gonna wait and see what it's properly like outside of the hype trailers that's for sure.
"Sluggish sales" 0 figures shown in the article other than the game didn't beat out Mario Kart 8 deluxe (in the UK alone).. It's not exactly time for the mortuary just yet is it..
It is a great game, more enjoyable for long periods than those games because the games are shorter here among other things- more recently because of 2.0 things are a bit borked and they're trying to push content to keep players invested in it, once a bit of that hype dies down we'll be left with a larger playerbase than before (shorter queue times) and more enjoyable games :)
After the Nexus challenge and hype for 2.0 dies down a bit the players still playing the game are likely gonna be those that enjoy it- so the questionable matchmaking and toxic players will shuffle their way out of the deck soon enough.
I think it's a really good idea to get more people who hadn't thought about playing it into the game, if you don't enjoy the game you don't have to keep playing it, you can simply miss out on that skin, just like you miss out on a ton during the seasonal events in Overwatch itself. - the new update to HoTS makes it a free to play game where you can get all the content in the game *without* paying a thing if you're so inclined, which is actually extremely nice.
Keep in mind the percentage is based purely on how many people unlocked the achievement for playing a ladies game- that doesn't mean 9% of players regularly play those games, heck; the majority was probably people checking out how it looks.
If the issue is realism, you have to keep in mind the foreign player rule in China- the newest ruling being only 3 foreign players at matchday, so if Fifa 18 could limit the amount of foreign players allowed in the squad to 4 or 5 there's not much of an issue, not only that but not every club in the league has the exorbitant budgets those at the top echelons do.
It absolutely does rival Inquisition for graphical presentation- as Lamboomington said, it's just a lot of the animations are very odd, it's miles better when it comes to gameplay for sure.. Inquisition was a snoozefest.

DOOM is a prime example of why Vulkan is ridiculously good, DX12 seems to stumble and has a lot of issues with many games, surely Ryzen would do best with Vulkan instead of DX12? If i'm right in thinking DX12 (OpenGL) and Vulkan are competing API's, if Vulkan uses DX12 then it has been shown a success with DOOM surely?.
For me personally, i'm most worried about it because Bioware's last game (Dragon age Inquisition) was so poor in comparison to their previous titles, and for me at least sets a dangerous precedent being a long time fan of the company- you can see since EA took over and the founders left that there has been a creeping agenda within the games to push for certain representation of characters, ideals, philosophies and so forth that a lot of people don't agree with, because it seems in...
The microtransactions are really not worth crying about- the only thing i'm not a fan of is you can unlock feats faster, but then that's really based on preference, and you can unlock them just by playing the game and with in game currency if you feel like it, so really it seems like a non-issue, the option being there is for the people that don't wanna put in time to have all the options available immediately ^^

The gear is only applicable in Dominion mode, furthermore; it only lets you focus on things, there are zero pieces of gear you can equip that is objectively better than any other.
The issue there of course, becomes one of cooling- that's why Consoles in the past have been well known to overheat (other than the form factor of small box, no space for cooling) having the two major sources of heat right next to each other while being massively powerful? bad recipe indeed.
