They did that to reach a broader audience (read: more sales). But that would be TOO awesome if it had dismemberment, holy crap!
For me. BFBC2 has shown me that running by pushing down on the left analog makes my thumb sore. A little more comfort, that's all. Everything else is fine.
And I'm thankful for that. I think regardless of the platform, developers tend to maximize the game for intended platform. Most of the time.

LBP is just an extension of sharing shown by development teams and I applaud them. Once again, LBP2 will be the pinnacle of creativity shared amongst the gaming community. Can't wait for this game!

The cause is from constant friction of the skin and the controller plus the vibration from the force feedback system. So, theoretically, yes. Just so happens that the patient in the original article plays 'beyond', thus the doctors named the skin disorder after the PlayStation.
the potential GAMES users will create off of LBP2 will take this beyond the 'expansion pack' level. More likely it will be a revolution in gaming once this game hits. Again, just like the first.
I can't help but listen to the trailer music whilst reading LBP articles. To follow up on one of the most unique experiences with this promising title is just so epic. And that's just from what they're telling us now, I'm sure E3 will reveal even more awesomeness. LBP for the win, again!
