Wow. There's 5 anticipated for the PS3 next year? I'd say it's only 1 and that is Jak & Daxter.
@Laxman - don't talk about flaws. You missed the part where this discussion is about XBOX 360 GAMES, not its peripherals and software.
Eh. 2011 was bad for Microsoft. 2012 looks to be following in that path.
Unless they can get exclusive rights to add-ons or timed exclusives, multi-platform titles will mean nothing.
Nonetheless, I am looking forward to another year of gaming. Bioshock Infinite and Mass Effect 3 are going to be great.
I went from the PS2 to the Xbox 360. Maybe because the 360 was released first, but that change did not hurt at all.
At the moment, now that I am sitting on 4 consoles (3DS, PC, 360 and PS3), it would be hard to decide which one I'd jump on for the next gen.
Heck, I may even just upgrade my CPU and GPU and stick to PC gaming.
As an Xbox 360 gamer over the last 4 years, let me say that it did not "kill it" in 2011.
The best thing that happened to the Xbox 360 this year is the new dashboard update. If that didn't happen, I would of purchased more games for my PS3 or 3DS.
@Kran
They took it seriously? Yeah, when it was too late. Quit trying to defend their ignorance, because nothing can excuse it.
@Kran
When you have over 70 million subscribers to your service, even a "joke of a threat" should be taken serious.
Why buy anything for your avatar? Majority of the time, the only one who can see it is you.
You can't even get your prop lined up for your gamerpic, without it disappearing off-screen.
Thanks, but no thanks. I'll stick to the crap, never-been-updated freebies.
By your logic, the last Tomb Raider game is "queen", because that's all Uncharted is - a clone of Tomb Raider.
The ones who need to get a life, are those like yourself. You complain about Anon and all other hackers about the things they do and how they ruin things and such, yet it's the same people who post these on N4G and want others to know.
How can you hate something, when you sit there and support it?
And let me guess, those who showed Sony's security flaws also need to get a life? Even though Sony were warned about it? Yeah, right!

Nice and simple. Even with the terrible d-pad, it worked like a charm.
Beggars can't be choosers. Don't care if it "sucks" or not, it's for free and a lot of people should be thankful that Sony even bothered to make it that.
Oh well. My first downloaded theme on my new PS3. Already liking this.
Perhaps you are right, but it's seen as 'the biggest video game awards show'. A lot of people are going to be influenced by what they see and hear.
Obviously the panel did not play Battlefield 3, Killzone 3 or even Gears of War 3, which deserve the title of best shooter of 2011 a lot more than MW3.
Word is that DC want to bring another superhero to the video game world. If true, I think they will want and prefer Rocksteady to take the lead.
If that is the case, then a new Batman game won't be available for at least 3 years. Hopefully anyway.
Tightest race? The panel is made up of 2 members from GameTrailers, which says a lot in itself.
Has anyone been keeping up with the GotY bonus round episodes? Again, it says a lot about who is going home with the gong.
Keep waiting, because there is another 20 or so hours to go.
It is worth the wait though. The new dashboard has grown on me.
Hopefully, Microsoft realises the potential of remaking a lot of Rare's classics from the Nintendo 64 era and how successful it could be.
Take a good look at Sony and the releases of God of War, God of War II and the upcoming release of Jak & Daxter. It is working great for them, so it baffles me as to why Microsoft continue ignoring some true gaming classics.
As a proud owner of Crackdown and Crackdown 2, I must say, this was an EXCELLENT read. The game is extremely underrated. I think the success of Crackdown only came because of its ties to Halo 3. If it weren't for that, so many copies would of not been sold.
Crackdown is a mixture of a toned-down Grand Theft Auto and a little bit of Halo. If you are a fan of either one, then Crackdown is definitely your kinda game.
Sure, if you're into puzzles and such, then Uncharted 3 wins.
I've played it for a few hours and I don't get what the fuss is about. Don't see why Tomb Raider games never won this, but Uncharted does.
