Microsoft Quotes:
LONDON – 13th November 2012 – In a year when Hollywood is rolling out its biggest blockbusters, one video game has eclipsed them all. “Halo 4” is on track to reach $300 million in global sales in the first week, making it the biggest “Halo” launch in history and the biggest entertainment launch of the year to date. In the first 24 hours of its release, “Halo 4” garnered more than $220 million worldwide, eclipsing the record for the biggest day-one opening in...
Four reasons to buy Fallout 4 at launch
1. Screw that I'm way too excited.
2. I can't wait to play it
3. Why miss out when others are enjoying it
4. Who cares if there are a few bugs at least I can enjoy the game whilst it's being fixed.
The reason: Michael Fassbender is in every other movie.
I jest, but it feels like it sometimes. Now he's Steve Jobs.
Yeh that's great and all except the article itself was edited and originally made the error.
People seem to overplay Kojima and his name attached to the series. I believe too much importance is placed upon his name hence.
"Konami took Kojima’s name off The Phantom Pain’s box art"
Yet it was plastered all over the mission intro sequences and end credits numerous times.
Kojima isn't the sole reason why the MGS games are what they are it's a team effort with many heads contributing ideas to the product.
A new console like the PS4 can enter the fray at 399 easily because the demand is there but an optional peripheral definitely not imo if they want lots of people buying it day one.
I fear you might be right though as Sony has a habit of high prices and given there is no direct competition they can charge what they like and hope those who can afford it or are prepared to pay that much make up the numbers to encourage the software development it needs.
Most annoying voice over EVER!
Sigh another website that can't tell the difference between 30 and 60 fps.
Darksiders II Deathinitive Edition is locked 30 fps on PS4 and Xbox One.
IGN have been mistakenly pushing this game as a 60 FPS title when in fact it is not. First VG247 with Uncharted nonsense and now IGN not even playing the game or knowing what 60 fps is actually like.
Their video is not 60 fps even if they claim it to be and the option is there for playback.
"This current-gen remaster takes all of the puzzles, exploration, and loot-crazy action of the original game, packs in a wealth of DLC, and improves the whole package...
Small percentage of gamers who frequent gaming websites does not equal the majority. So, if a select few want to see more of a game, let them.
"If You Are Buying A Console This Holiday, You Are Buying An Xbox One"
"because you already own a PS4".
Sorry guys I couldn't resist that one.
Playboy seriously?
Number 24: ROUGE THE BAT.
A+ for some nice pictures and gifs
F- for effort.
Yeh that might be so but what gamers want and what actually is are two different things.
Interesting indeed but why the cloak and dagger routine. If it was coming to PS VR or in development for it then why not say so. If they are only "experimenting" then at this stage I have my doubts.
wow this is early considering the release is December 1st right?
Already pre-ordered mine the moment it became available. I would have suffered the JPN text. This is just even better.
Stroll on 2016.
Has it been confirmed that Tekken is not FP? Cast your mind back to the FP view in Tekken 2, it could be the same as that.
@ Braid.
FOV whilst might be limited is still comfortable for presence in the VR world. Without checking exact details but the Gear VR works just great with a simple game like Dreadhalls with the limited FOV and as you suggest snorkel view effect.
I agree that many will be getting a bit bowled over by the bullshot videos and images which all VR publishers/developers seem to present regardless of platform. There's no way to accurately represent how games a...
We knew Harada was a keen advocate for VR so it will be interesting to see how this will work with Tekken 7. I am hoping for a model viewer as well as the fighting game. I'm not sure how a first person Tekken would would but there was that game Breakdown and the cheat code to make Tekken 2 play in first person.
Looking good.
@ the disagrees. My point is here's the 50 games or so which ones of these are well known AAA franchises which could sell the system? Me I'm excited for any VR experiences but for the sceptical there's few KNOWN franchises making the conversion or having the support. I guess Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 could be added to the list but that's a niche game.
Oculus has secured Minecraft VR which is just the sort of well-known game PS VR needs to entice the masses to at ...
What's with the hostility. Misguided is surely a better word no?
