Well at least he didn't spit.
A bit short sighted of you LarZen. What about giving these mediocre, milked and tired franchises a new lease of life in the VR space?
IMO it's down to the creativity of the developers in accordance with what can be accomplished using current technology that will make or break the experiences.
Totally. Even if they are hybrid games or new experiences using the familiar IPs. Without them, VR will be destined to be labelled too indie which isn't a bad thing to begin with but won't necessarily pull in the numbers over the longer term.
At least Sony is on the right track by announcing big names like Ace Combat, Tekken 7 and Gran Tourismo.
It comes to £529 total cost if ordering from the UK.
Got mine ordered but that price hit me too hard. Wasn't expecting it that high.
So those two "free" games are probably not free at all (factored into the launch price no doubt) and the Xbox One controller bundled in ups the cost quite a bit too.
Had it been just a standalone unit with no carry case, games and controller I wonder how low it would have been.
My money is ready. Screw the price. I bet these sell out pretty fast too.
The SJWs are strong with this article. Like moths to the flame, flies to the bucket of s**t.
Yet look at all the women in the adult entertainment industry that have boob jobs. Then ponder the numbers of women in general who opt to have boob jobs to increase their bust size.
Obviously a lot of males like big BOOBZ. A lot of women like to have Big BOOBZ.
The DOA girls might appear childish but in general they are supposed to be quite young.
Different strokes for different folks.
Terraria on 3DS with no 3D...duh!
Problem is when you watch these videos in a small window or on mobile phone it's really hard to see much difference. But when you go full screen or use a larger display then those differences become more apparent.
@UserNameIsNotTaken
You're right I haven't, but I have spent hours, weeks and months on the Oculus DK 2 and Samsung Gear VR. I would wager the PS VR is somewhere in the middle of those.
You know what Shawn, instead of talking nonsense, why not show the massive killer exclusive AAA VR game that we "didn’t even imagine was possible" and everyone wants to rush and buy.
Oh I miss Jack T, this guy just sounds like a complete auto-script the Hans Gruber (Alan Rickman) of Sony.
No Man's Sky.
Youtube allows nudity and sexual themes as long as it is educational and/or artistic. I think this game [VALKYRIE DRIVE -BHIKKHUNI] qualifies as both don't it?
Interesting that review scores are no longer visible until you click the news article.
I doubt it was money motivated just wrongly taken down in the first place.
"These changes have arisen internally. We decided to remove it because we want as many people to play, and we do not want the game something that might make someone uncomfortable."
Translation:
"We've succumbed to pressure from certain aspects of western culture to tone down the sexual themes in our game so as to not annoy some female gamers and the men who fight their cause. We want more sales and believe if we kept the content in, many ...
Even Dread Halls on the Gear VR can be incredibly spooky so yeh horror games have their place. The more the merrier.
A shame he's underplaying the games that were announced a bit. I think Ace Combat 7 was a pretty big VR reveal.
Then we are all VR Doomed...
Rockband and games of this ilk are an excuse to get people to spend more money on untold DLC packs. It makes sense why this is top priority so that low initial sales have a chance to recoup costs through DLC.
Not what I signed up for. I want VR big guns, spaceships, massive worlds, sexy ladies and monsters.
-Not necessarily in that order or in the same game but you get my drift.
@godmars "Except - the very basic point - Oculus isn't a standalone device."
And neither is the DVD you mentioned. As a disc it requires a player and as a player it needs a TV.
Your very basic point is flawed.
