raztad, it appears that you have an unhealthy emotional attachment to video games (and the Playstation brand in particular), so I don't really see any point in discussing this with you any further.
I'm not even saying that as an insult, I just see how irrational you act when someone says something even remotely negative about the PS3, so I realize that no matter what I say you will twist it to fit your warped way of thinking.
Seriously, even if what you say about...
:/
Just because I don't worship the PS3 (like you and your pals) does not mean that I am an "extreme xfanboy and very well known PS3 hater."
I own many different consoles and enjoy all of them.
I happen to enjoy my 360 the most, though, and apparently that has gotten you all worked up. lol
Yeah, it's just one of those things.
When I bought my 360 I wasn't even really thinking about its controller, so it was an awesome surprise.
If Sony doesn't change its controller design for the PS4 I am going to be pissed. :(
@BeaArthur
After using the 360's controller I find that I HATE using the Dualshock.
I bought a PS2 the first day it was sold to the public, and the controller was fine with me for years, but as soon as I got a 360 I couldn't believe how much better I liked its controller.
Very hard for me to go back to the Dualshock design.
"I was fine with it during the PS2 generation but once I got my hands on a 360 controller there was no going back, it's just way too good."
Exactly.
The first time I held the 360's controller I was like "will you marry me?" lol
Best controller ever (unless you play games with a D-pad).
I would rather swap discs than use the PS3's controller.
My only issue with the game is which version performs better.
If they both look the same, I will be picking up my 360's controller.
lol @ that opening paragraph.
I've been playing the game for a couple of days and I think I've had about all I can take of it. There are way too many good games available for me to play something this mediocre.
Back to Gamefly it goes...
I am very happy that we keep getting a new Call of Duty game every year.
It is my favorite series of games, and getting a new one each year helps keep things fresh.
My only concern is that I was not very impressed with World at War's multiplayer. The map design was just plain bad in my opinion, and I hope they improve that with their next game.
I loved World at War's single player, though, so I have high hopes for COD 7.
I finished Bioshock 2 last week.
I had fun with it, but I felt that the two endings I got were very, very weak.
Why are you selling them?
That seems like a very nice thing to hold onto.
You read it wrong. :D
Yeah, I will probably go ahead and purchase it tonight just to be safe.
Yes, I just thought I heard that it was going back up to $20 tomorrow.
I plan on buying it, I just didn't want to have to buy it today to avoid the price increase.
Is today the last day that Trine will be on sale?
I am really getting sick and tired of hearing developers and publishers cry about used game sales.
I don't hear car companies crying about used car sales, I don't hear Hollywood crying about used movie sales, but every time I turn around I hear people in the video game industry crying about lost revenue due to used game sales.
It really is laughable when you consider the OBSCENE amount of money that the video game industry generates each and every year.
...
Is it true that the 360 version looks better during actual gameplay and that the PS3 version looks better during cutscenes? I thought I read that here on N4G a week or so ago.
I'm not asking that to troll, I really want to know because I have a higher-end system that can take full advantage of the lossless audio and 1080P cutscenes on the PS3 version, but if the 360 version does indeed look better during gameplay I might rent that version instead.
I should be getting this tomorrow (renting it).
Based on the reviews, the game seems to be mediocre at best, but I'm still looking forward to giving it a try.
I thought the multiplayer demo was terrible, but I've got my fingers crossed that the single player campaign will be (much) better.
I like it when a game gets DLC way after its release.
It gives me a reason to revisit a game that I otherwise wouldn't.
This thread is proof that people take video games way too seriously.
Seriously, I said that I didn't enjoy a demo, and now we got people setting up paypal accounts to try and prove that I am a troll. lol
Seek help, people. Seek help.
I didn't mind them at first, but after a while (later levels and some user created levels) I found myself wishing for tighter controls.
It certainly didn't ruin the experience for me, though.
I'm actually surprised that more games don't get spoiled like this. It's like the ultimate fanboy victory. lol
If I REALLY like a game I will avoid reading comments about it just in case someone posts a spoiler.
After this little event, I strongly suggest that people avoid the Alan Wake threads like the plague. lol
