I'm just offering my opinion of the game.
I see that a lot of people are still trying to convince everyone that MAG isn't mediocre.
I'm glad that some people like it (if they are even being sincere, that is) but it looks like most people that play it are not impressed, and they certainly don't feel like MAG has raised the bar and ruined all other FPS games for them. lol

I have a PS3, and I thought UC2 was a great game (the GOW3 demo was nothing special in my opinion, however).
I do like my 360 more, though (because of the controller, Xbox Live and better performing multiplats) but I still like my PS3 and want to see it get good games that I enjoy.
Seriously though, you should play Mass Effect 1 and 2. You are missing out on two very awesome games, especially the 2nd one.

Mass Effect 2 is an incredible game that people are excited about, so you really shouldn't act so surprised that it is getting tons of attention and praise.
Play the game, maybe you will like it.

I have never had a subscription to Qore, so I didn't know that (although I still wouldn't pay $20 for it in its current state).
I wish they still gave away the episodes for free in the back of the Playstation (PTOM) magazine.
I subscribe to the magazine and used to look forward to getting the free codes.
I am definitely NOT going to pay $25 a year for Qore.

I HIGHLY doubt that Bad Company 2 is going to be winning anything, much less GOTY.
Unless the final game is way, way better than the recent demos, this game is going to be viewed much like the first one. A good/very good game, but nothing amazing.
Mass Effect 2 is my favorite single player campaign this gen.

That is exactly the reason why.
Many PS3 owners are incredibly insecure and feel the need to attack any game that threatens one of their exclusives.
It is all very transparent, but they seem to think that nobody can see their true motives.
Rather sad, when you think about it.
