I think that most people, deep down, know that Sony's "Move" is just an attempt to keep up with current trends, while Natal is an all-out effort on Microsoft's part, with genuine developer interest and excitement.
It's the difference between being a leader and being a follower.
I actually think that Sony would have been wise to avoid motion control altogether, as it now means that they are faced with being in 3rd place with that, as well.
This is awesome.
Day one for me.
I want one also, but I have decided to hold off on buying one until more info about the "DS 2" comes out.
If the new DS is coming out Fall of 2010, I will buy that instead of the XL.
One of those 613,000 was mine. :D
I decided it was about time that I got one, so I did (from Sears, of all places lol).
I am fairly certain that "Move" will turn out to be a failed gimmick, in much the same way that the "Sixaxis" failed.
It's pretty clear that it is just Sony's attempt to keep up with current trends, and not something that they are truly passionate about.
Natal on the other hand looks like it will be a real beast, with massive developer support and full backing from Microsoft.
Time will tell, but my money is on Natal.
Oops, posted "1.6" down here by mistake.
Here is a picture for your trouble...
"Portal 2 is the best game we've ever done"
"That is not saying much Gabe."
You need to educate yourself, my friend.
Valve is responsible for some of the best games ever made.
If Portal 2 is indeed the best game that they have ever done, it is going to be amazing x 1,000.
Go easy on Hellsvacancy, guys. He openly admits that he sits around and gets baked all day, so it's probably just the weed talking.
"What a kak game (any South African's will know What this means)"
A lot of people would say the same thing about South Africa.
Seriously, South Africa is full of "kak" and is probably the last place on earth that most sane people would ever want to visit. lol

"in guitar rising you can...
it will probably ignore the 7th string though"
I guess I'll have to wait for Guitar Rising: Death Metal Edition, then. :D
I wish someone would make a game that used your own guitar.
I would love to play a game using my Carvin 7 string.
I've come close to buying a PSP a few times, but I could never bring myself to do it. All of the talk about "not enough good games" has always kept me from buying one, but I still think about getting one from time to time.
If they dropped the price to $100 I would buy one today, though.
That's fine, I just don't understand where the anger comes from.
It would be like getting upset because they release a new color, or something. It's just another choice, not a sinister scheme to hurt their fans.
Ouch.
I really liked the beta, but I was very surprised when I heard that it was going to be a full-priced game. (I had been assuming that it was going to be a PSN release).
It's not the kind of game that I would drop $60 on, but if it gets a serious price drop I would consider buying it.
"You 360 owners are all playing the PC's sloppy seconds"
Sloppy seconds? Isn't that just another name for multiplatform games on the PS3? :D
Seriously, when 99% of all multiplats perform better on the 360 you probably shouldn't be talking about "sloppy seconds".
I don't understand logic like yours at all.
Why is it a bad thing that Nintendo is offering something new for gamers?
They aren't making you purchase it, and as long as it doesn't make previous models obsolete (which it doesn't) than what's the big deal?
If it doesn't appeal to you, why not just move on to something that does?
Exactly, I'm getting my tent and sleeping bag ready as I type this. :D
