Listen, I could tell within a 1/2 hour that MAG was nothing special.
Asking me to play it for hours on end until it "got good" would be like asking me to watch the grass in my front yard grow. lol
The game failed to bring the fun, simple as that.

The Bad Company 2 beta was a jaggy mess that looked and played pretty much exactly like the first one.
EA and Dice have a lot of work to do if they think they can go toe-to-toe with Modern Warfare 2.
I think a small core might stay with it, but I really can't see it having any type of mass appeal.
I found the beta to be extremely mediocre, so I will be very surprised if this game does well.
There are just too many great games available to play a game like MAG, in my opinion.

Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising was horrible in my opinion.
I have zero interest in their next FPS.
I was in the first beta and thought it was pretty fun, but I was shocked to hear that this is going to be a full priced game.
I had assumed that it was going to be a downloadable PSN game for $20 or $30.
I just can't see a lot of people paying $60 for it.
The first one took me 24 hours and 57 minutes to finish.
Hardcore gamers aren't the only kind of gamers, guys.
This is just something new (and different) for the 360.
No harm in that.

After playing the MAG beta I can safely say that MAG is nothing to be proud of.
If this game wasn't an exclusive it would be getting zero attention paid to it, but instead it is being hyped like the second coming. lol

I have owned a PS3 since 2008.
I can understand how you would think otherwise, though, because I seem to be the only person on N4G that owns a PS3 and DOESN'T feel the need to defend it to the death. lol
I'm glad I own both consoles, but in my opinion the PS3 is right where it belongs: in last place.

MAG getting destroyed by Mass Effect 2 already has them on edge (just look at their comments in any pro-Mass Effect article) so I can only imagine how bad it will get if Heavy Rain fails.
