The Maw is a great game.
It is pretty short with little replay value, though, so I would only recommend buying it when it goes on sale.
I got it for $5 a while back and it was totally worth it.
A nice change of pace from the games that I usually play.
Nice, thanks for the info.
I considered that, but I have no experience with overclocking things and I am worried that I will eff something up. lol
@ColdFire
I think I'm in a pretty good position with what I currently have:
Phenom II X4 945
6 gigs DDR2
1 TB HDD
850 Watt PSU
Creative XtremeGamer Fatal1ty Pro sound card
My current GPU is a Radeon 2400 pro, so that is definitely my weakest link.
@Software Lover
I hate RTS games. :(
I wish I didn't, because I know that they rule (for those that like them) on the PC.
I apprecia...
Cool, thanks for the info.
I'm considering the 5850 also, but I think in the end I am gonna go all-out and get the 5870 (just to play it safe).
I'm VERY close to pulling the trigger on a 5870, but I'm still not 100% sure that I will be happy if I do.
I have been gaming on consoles (only) for my entire life, but I have decided that I want to start gaming on my PC, but only if the difference between it and my consoles is a big one (hence my reason for considering the 5870).
I'm worried that I will drop the cash for the 5870 only to find that the differences are not that great (playing on a 50" B650 10...
*crickets*
Saw "sexiness" and then noticed game characters look like they are 9 years old. :(
GOTY
That's probably what I will do.
Got my eye on the Sapphire Vapor-X 5850.
I'm in the process of building one.
Got everything but the GPU. I can't decide whether to go with a 5770 or something with more horsepower (I'm thinking about going with a 5850).
I can only run one card, so I'm worried that I will be wanting/needing to upgrade the 5770 not long after I get it.
Cool, I'm very anxious to play it.
Should look sweet on my 50" Samsung.
Sounds like it will be one heck of a game.
I'm looking forward to hearing more about it.
I love sales like these.
I will buy pretty much anything when it's around 4 or 5 dollars.
No, it's true.
I have a source on the inside. He gave me a video of the commercials that will be running this summer...
Why so testy, DeathroW22? (Sounds like I touched a nerve)
My question was a serious one.
The vast majority of multiplats perform better on the 360, so limiting yourself to just a PS3 and wishing for more multiplats does not make much sense to me.
I own both consoles, so I have all my bases covered.
Heavenly Sword had amazing voice acting (Andy Serkis = instant win and was simply awesome in this game) but the game did have a few flaws.
I would love to see a second one with the same cast and a huge budget, but it doesn't sound like that will be happening anytime soon. :(
My favorite scene in the game...
Aren't PS3 owners getting tired of playing inferior versions of multiplatform games?
I'm looking forward to hearing more about this game. It sounds like it could be cool.
I love FPS games, so there will never be "too many" of them in my world.
