God thing its coming to Game Pass then huh
My guess is that some time in the development, Microsoft told them, yeah screw Xbox One, make this next-gen only. Meaning it made sense to go back to the drawing board and build Forza Tech for next-gen standards
3 years**
This won't be hitting anything till 2023, Microsoft has stated so in their commitment to no Series X exclusives for 2 years
OLED is the way to go, in that space Sony TV's aren't even in the conversation in comparison to LG OLEDs

**Never understood why I can't just reply to your comment directly on this page
1. Never stated the textures and shaders are of high quality, but its no news or story that when you show areas in indirect lighting aka. area in shadow, your lighting needs to bounce appropriately on surfaces and shaders to make the scenes look nice. Its why ND opted for a baked GI on their engine, same with SP with GOT, using baked GI lighting maps for each lighting...
Where did you see me making an excuse for them? Also what part did I state was wrong?
The main thing making this project look better is the lighting. The Slipspace Engine's lighting tech is way too advanced to scale to Xbox One and Series X. Its why, despite having a dynamic GI set up, the lighting looks flat as hell. Its rely on the GPU to place probes and light darker shaded areas and guess what on a 1.6 TFLOP GPU you aren't getting that lmao
As DF said, the Ray Tracing's gotta be a GI based because with their vision of a real time world, you...
PC isn't really a constraint, you can build on the Series X and leave the PC port to be run on brute force. The Xbox One with its abysmal 1.6 TFLOPs will always hinder graphical prowess
Yes, but at the core of it, the game was built with the Xbox One as the base. No matter how much Xbox fanboys can try, a game built for 1.6 TFLOP hardware will never look next-gen
Half of those games shown are coming only on Xbox Series X, so what part of generations did he miss?
Both open world felt pretty bland to me, among those GOT being more fun to explore simply because its bare minimum UI lets the game feel natural to explore which I love, almost gives me Breath of the Wild feel. But Red Dead's side quests and narrative is leagues ahead of GOT. I'm about 80% of the way through the main campaign and am so bored, that I ignore them to just explore the world more
I get that to showcase an upscaled Xbox One game at a next-gen showcase is bad PR. But this game is pushing the Xbox One to its limits. Anyone who understands even the basics of game engine coding and design can tell you that its def not a next-gen showcase, but for current-gen standards, its pretty damn impressive.
And I'm aware the Sony fanboys who are extra lonely during this time are gonna compare this to TLOU P2 or GOT, but once again those games scope and frame-r...
Its Halo Destiny edition, not a full open world akin to Fallout, but areas that are open to explore
Made by the guys who made Steamworld and that game was amazing. Wondering what you're pedigree for gaming is my guess is anything from Sony you'd lick up off the street huh
PS Plus has been absolutely amazing, I'm hoping the PS5 can play all of the Plus titles that continue to come to the PS4
@cosmic
While there were larger areas in Shadow Fall, none of them are even close to the open world design for Infinite. Halo Infinite def does look current-gen, but thats kinda because it is haha. I think 343's problem was showing a build that isn't even using its Ray Tracing features
There hasn't even been any gameplay shown AT ALL for this game loll, how are you gonna comment on the visuals without any actual real gameplay footage to analyze?
God damn didn't think N4G clowns could be anymore brain dead. Halo Infinite is a large scale open world vs. corridor levels in KZ:SF. Not to mention from a technical assembly, the base frame-rate target for KZ:SF is 30 FPS with an open frame-rate, in which various performance analysis can show you it does barely runs at 60 FPS.
So why is this even being compared? lmao
@Jin_Sakai
Dumbest thing I've ever heard, Game Pass does not reduce the payout for what studios receive in funding nor what they are paid. You probably think Netflix/ Disney Plus/ HBO/ ATT pay their production staff minimum wage for their original content lmao
@spicelicka
Eww you judge games on more than their graphics? Get outta here
