It is difficult to integrate story and gameplay together, much less do it well. If you make her a nervous breakdown when trying to kill every enemy early on people would hate it and call it unplayable and say it wasn't fun. If you go the route they did and separate the two then people say that her actions don't match her words.
The main point of a game is to be fun and entertaining, and if they can't do something without making it fun then they shouldn't do i...
The Vita was selling in low sales for almost a year, but look at it now. People still defended the Vita's poor sales during most of that time. Same with the 3DS, when it had bad sales people defended it and then it got better later on. The same will happen with the WiiU once more games come.
>a rumor based on a rumor
Are you serious?
More powerful than current consoles and released in a later timeframe. So yeah.
Thank you sweet baby Jeebus. When I saw how little and scripted the destruction was I almost felt betrayed. Blowing all the walls out around a camper or just bringing the house down was so much fun in BC2. Glad to see it's back, or at least better than BF3's.
>said by nobody, ever
Did you even play the campaign and talk to people who did as well? People weren't impressed. At all.
Edit in response: Because they have shown they can do decent campaigns with Bad Company, there's nothing wrong with having something if it is done well. They can do it, so there's no reason not to. People didn't care about the campaign in BF3 because it was bad. It wouldn't have been the main focus for gamers if it ...
I'm glad DICE is willing to admit it's faults with the campaign, most devs these days would just go "stop being entitled, our game is perfect". Hopefully one of the things they do is take out the color tint and reduce the sun's brightness, because goddamn is that sun bright.
They said it fell below their "lowest specs" but they're still developing on the 360 and PS3, what the hell? "The biggest problem we have right now is we don't want to back down from what we see as our low spec machines." This is giving me mixed messages. First it's we want to focus on the low end machines and not waste the time to take advantage of the WiiU's extra power, but then its the WiiU doesn't meet up with our lowest specs and that a limit has ...
If I enjoyed them, sure I guess. If it wasn't a fun game I'm not going back just for Trophies.
>WilliamH and Heavenly King's comments
W-what?
>agree to use Origin in order to get more games, but online falls under EA's management and draconian rules, as well as having to use a poor online service
>don't agree to use Origin to keep the online simple and in their control, but lose the games and support, even with ones that were finished such as Crysis 3
I don't envy you Nintendo, but you probably made the right choice. I don't want to have to deal with EA anymore than I have to, and usin...
He fucks with fans all the time, especially when they keep asking annoying questions they should know he's not supposed to answer. Somebody once asked if there were any preview screens for Bayonetta 2 and I think he made a paint picture using the brush that just said "Bayonetta 2" over the logo.
>Dragon's Dogma is shallow
>200 levels
>9 classes with numerous augments and abilities
>character creation for both you and your main pawn, along with renting other people's pawns
You what, mate?
People have been claiming that if this isn't an option and is mandatory then this is a horrible move. Don't try to stir up crap between fanbases.
@boldstar
>same 'ol game since 1980's
Because Metroid Prime is the same as Super Metroid or Metroid Fusion, right? And Super Mario Sunshine and Galaxy 1 and 2 are the same as the Mario Kart or Paper Mario series? Ok.
Microtransactions, a single ammo type, far too many human enemies, less emphasis on being alone (partly in thanks to the co-op), more focused on action instead of atmosphere and survival, etc. etc.
>multi-plat can look better on PC
This isn't exactly ground-breaking news here. Spoiler alert: Nobody really cares. If it plays fine and looks fine, that's fine.
It's more like "develop on the easiest architecture first". Developing on the PS3 then porting to other consoles would have been needlessly more difficult.
Good stuff, only have two minor nitpicks.
The first is that you only get two revives, as three would mean you need to die four times to fail a quest. An easier way to say it is that you have three lives. To expand on that, it would be good to mention that those three lives are shared in online quests, so if a buddy goes down the party only has two lives left.
The other is the 'lock-on' as it doesn't actually lock-on to a monster and stay focu...
@Conzul
Power wan't a part of the analogy, I never said anything about it. The only things mentioned were sales and games. Games are what sell consoles. The 3DS started selling when more good games came out. The Vita started selling when more good games came out. The WiiU will start selling when more good games come out. It's not doing good now, I'll freely admit that.
