I think Microsoft are holding back killer Xbox features and games to bolster the Scorpio launch. They need to come out guns blazing and I think they plan too.
Xbox still has some big exclusives this year. Halo Wars 2, Crackdown 3, Sea of Thieves (unsure about State of Decay and Phantom Dust) and Phil has mentioned unannounced games and new IP. Sony had 2 big ones that come to mind last year Uncharted 4 and the Last Guardian. I’m not counting games like Cup Head or No Ma...
When I saw arms in the reveal event. It was at that point I realized that this is wii amera Nintendo.
Prior to this reveal I've seen so many people claiming / hoping that nx would be a system that saw Nintendo focusing on the core again. But I really think Nintendo are chasing money and profits and I think wii success made them stupid.
When they saw that they could release a weak system sell at a profit and sell tons of soft ware. Didn't Mario ...
@Neonridr
you may have a point... nintendo are proud and would harbor a grudge against sony. since sony went on to kill them in their own space and time after time make better systems and took all their business partners (square soft for example).
but I'll just as gladly use my Xbox controller to control Mario.
not too happy to use an apple control scheme tho.
*sign* oh nintendo...yeah sure a long life, just like NX isn't replacing wii u.
i'm beginning to believe Nintendo is really an incapable company.
i feel the same way.
i'm ready to use square, circle, x and triangle to control mario.
i really supported nintendo with the wii u, for how unpopular it was i have a great library of game for it that were a lot of fun and amazing experiences. i've played my wii u more than my ps4 and own more games for wii u than ps4.
all that being said, i'm not getting the switch. maybe a year or 2 later after it has amassased a wonderful library. they will prob put out mario...
i loved kirby's epic yarn. wish nintendo would of showed a new on for switch.
i dunno i think that honor might still got to wii music.
switch is DOA
60 dollars to move my hands up and down like i'm milking a cow....
nintendo probably gave them 10 units to sell thats why. nintendo is known for making a product seem like it's in demand by limiting supply.
they way nintendo is backwards don't be surprised if you find out there are some weird stipulations like a family of 4 would need 2 subscriptions
nintendo actually famously said they do not look at their competition. they see it as a positive thing, like they don't copy and they don't want what others did to influence their own internal creative process.
however i see it as a negative. there are things that your competitors have nailed and you'd be wise to take their ideas and incorporate them into your and if you can improve upon it.
but them not trying to compete has got them in thi...
almost like there is a troll in the company who secretly wants to make games for playstation and is actively trying to make them fail from the inside.
this makes me want to get a used n64 with some controllers and few of my favorite games, a used gamecube with a tittle or 2 and a controller i already have my wii u. and just stop there. stop looking at nintendo's future games and system. almost feel like just righting them off and not bothering with them anymore (pretty much what i've been doing with them this last year anyway) - just no enthusiasm towards their products anymore. their last e3 was abhorrent
wowwww just wowwww
nintendo the official cheap skates of the gaming world.
microsoft gives us free xbox one games we can play anytime as long as our subscription is active and free xbox 360 games that are yours forever even after your subscription expires..... meanwhile nintendo playing stingy with their 2mb nes games that anyone with half a brain can download the rom for free. some incentive nintendo.
@BizarroUltraman
huh what? mario 64 was a pioneering industry leading game, this looks nothing like that.
oh, do you mean it like odyssey looks like a 1996 game re-released or "reincarnated" in 2017?
i feel like Miyamoto don't know what a hardcore gamer is anymore. i think he is a casual gamer and thinks of himself as a hard core gamer. i think he makes hardcore games with kids in mind.
@TFJWM
You're thinking is absurd! Insomniac said to Sony, we would like to make this game and keep the IP and Sony said NO, but Microsoft said yes.
Yet someone you believe Sony did not turn them down!? Unbelievable.
