i have to admit i'm now a little more curious than i was before, but thors description of the game is i think particularly telling of why the game isn't getting hyped up as much as you guys would like:

i disagree @ GOTY / Critics choice, it would be nice to see this game do well dont get me wrong as i'm all for creativity and innovation on ps3, but its not a game that appeals to me or (i would think) a large demographic of ps3 users, and i think a lot of ppl see LBP as nothing more than a "meh" game.

have to say that sony does seem to keep shafting its european base. i was lucky enough to pick up the original 60 gig ps3 with backwards compatibility and all the original features - and at a reasonableish price of 350 GBP.
console wise sonys gone through like 3 other models (2x 40 gig with varying degrees of backwards compatibility and now this new 80 gig). how can a company seemingly have no idea about whats its consumers want/need?

i actually cant believe this got above an 8 rating. i hate to hit on games and reviews but thats insulting. Your honestly saying to me that TC4 is nearly on par with a game like GT5p which got an 8.5 rating overall?
though i will say they've done the graphics up a little, which do actually look alright - not great, but yeah not mediocre either.
i doubt other reviews will generally go above 9.5, though i agree it would be nice to see gta v1 get a perfect rating but critics get paid to critique, they'll be able to find something (however small) to put the game down just a little.
still, wont stop me buying htis, gonna be a great game! gutted i dont get the opportunity for DLC (i own ps3 only) but guess that would depend on how much the DLC'd cost. i digress anyway, since i dont actually have a choice here!
