no ones talking about DLC being defining. you've taken the ball and run with it. we are simply saying that DLC will push 360 sales because it gives the consumer one more choice.

DLC might not be released on xbox till much later, but you gotta concede that a) same content wont be available on ps3 and b) xbox users (assuming they pay for the DLC) will get something that us ps3 users dont.

using the same analogy of gran turismo it would actually be more like sony releasing gt5p (assuming it had different tracks) AFTER the full game of gt5. think about the fact DLC for GTA4 is 10 hours and the full game is 100 hours.
i gree with ur premise, that the 360 version is technically "superior" due to DLC, but disagree with the remainder of ur argument.

i think gta4 dlc will push 360 software sales and even some hardware sales. When it comes to the actual DLC, there'll be less interest, but people who buy the game will want to keep their options open and if you get on ps3 you limit that option from the get go.
dont get me wrong, i'll b buying it on ps3 as its the only console i have, but i think "new" next gen customers keen ONLY for this game will be more inclined to buy 360 version. As with all console wars though ...
