"New Assassin's Creed Game Confirmed for Next Fiscal Year"
Right on!
"... Will Use AC Unity's Technology"
FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!
I heard EA learned their lesson on bf3 then bf4 happened.
I learned a lesson. Don't buy games on release assuming they work because game developers don't learn.
Now I wait until I know a game is playable before purchasing it.
@LightOfDarkness
It sounds like you're blaming a few people who say bad things online for governments taking away peoples rights?! When governments take away peoples rights it's a problem with the government not the people.
Brianna Wu is a professional victim. She goes online and insults people then when people get mad and insult her back she screen caps the insults then asks for money. When people aren't currently insulting her she insults hersel...
You realize you don't need to trade in disc games right?
I almost clicked on the link until I saw it was from kotaku.
That was close!
Heists DLC? Does this mean people have to pay extra for this?
Wasn't heists supposed to be part of the original game?
There is an old expression "Don't bite the hand that feeds you".
What it means is you shouldn't attack the people that you depend on because they will stop supporting you.
After the smear campaigns against gamers that "gaming news" sites have launched those sites shouldn't expect to survive.
"I almost clicked on the link."
I read your comment then realized what site the article was from. I won't be clicking.
"As it stands, GamerGate submissions will be allowed in N4G if it is news regarding content that directly involves a developer, publisher, or similar individual who isn't a journalist."
The whole point of gamergate is ethics in game journalism. So no submissions about the actual issue of gamergate is allowed?! Umm, seriously?!
According to Val no. You haven't bought it yet so you don't have a soul currently and there is no mention of a soul being included with the game!
@darkride
"The whole reason 8 Chan started, as the article noted, was as a response to 4chan shutting down Gamergate threads."
Neat trick considering 8chan was started October 22, 2013 long before gamergate happened!

This video seems relevant and adds a humorous spin on the state of video game reviews today.

"@brish. Could your personal attacks at me be any more dishonest? You do realize people can see my posting history and know your spouting baseless nonsense, right?"
... says the person who throws baseless personal attacks at me in his reply.
@thorstein
"Did you wait until September 2014 to play Battlefield 4?"
I didn't buy it on release because it was broken. It took so long for them to fix it that I lost interest in it. I have never played bf4 and have no intention of ever doing so.
@darkride66
"Your excuses and refusal to condone this type of illegal behavior against female game developers and critics while you hide behind your internet anonymity and continue to parrot the slander against these individuals sickens me."
... says the person who parrots the slander against gamergate.
You do know there are women in gamergate right? Why do you keep attacking them?

I stopped buying games on release and I don't have to deal with broken games anymore.
If you wait until the game works before purchasing it the problem of buying broken games is solved.
@NewMonday
It's not like that all at.
A significant portion of the article focuses on how games can be patched so the initial review can be completely irrelevant at a latter date.
I heard from many people that Driveclub, Diablo II, and Destiny sucked when released but after patches that's not true anymore.
If games can be patches maybe reviews need to be able to be 'patched' as well!?
... or maybe game developers should make sure their products work on release!
@darkride66
"You'very called me out before? Since when? Are you sire you have the right user?"
I called you out in this thread: "SilentsNegotiator was off topic but you calling people names is really immature.". Yes, I'm sure I have the right user.
"I have nothing to apologize for. I was posting regarding my love of games. I was subsequently attacked by Gamergate supporters. You don't want to be labeled a 'goon...
I just won't buy games anymore until I know they work. I don't have to deal with broken games anymore and they lose sales.
