The cost of making games is rising but the sales numbers for games isn't going up.

It's a problem the industry caused themselves because the industry defines the budget for game development.

Gamers are used to each new game having better graphics, more features etc. but this business model isn't sustainable. Eventually the cost of making games will exceed that amount of money they can make.

Hype is a mixed up concept.

If a game is over hyped then people will often say it sucks because it didn't mean their overly high expectations but it also means the game will get a lot of sales.

If a game isn't hyped many people will skip it even if it's an amazing game.

I've heard it's not bad but the problem is they removed a lot of features that were in the previous version.

I've also heard that many of the removed features are going to be sold as DLC later.

How do you feel about getting a stripped down game with improved graphics that to get a similar experience to prior sims games you're going to have to pay more for?

I would summarize the article as: console games keep getting better looking every generation but the games are not getting any better.

A site called fifa15 saying people should buy fifa15.

The definition of "hardcore" for both games, and gamers I see most is related to difficulty not the hours spent, and/or the type of game played.

My "problem" with ps+ is there is so much content that is released I don't have enough time to play everything.

I just downloaded last months content a few days ago because I had to clear up some space because of everything else I downloaded.

It's a good problem but it is a problem!

You used a double negative.

Saying "I don't believe anything they say anymore" would means you don't believe anything they say. If you said "I believe nothing they say anymore" also means you don't believe anything they say.

Using the double negative "I don't believe nothing they say anymore" means you believe everything they say.

You didn't do it right! ;-)

It's an important enough feature for people of older gen consoles they'll simply not buy fifa 15 and EA will miss out on revenue.

So what you're saying is you didn't buy it?!
