@Dumpling
The problem is polygon appears to hate gamers, games, and gaming culture.
Their game "reviews" tend to be more about politic rants than the games. Almost all their "reviews" insult gamers, games, or gaming culture in some way.
Thanks for the warning! Almost clicked on the link!
Whew!

Hitmen want to get paid for their work but that doesn't mean they aren't horrible.
It's possible to be horrible AND want to be paid for the work one does.
You didn't dispute anything chrisx posted.
"Discs have nothing to do with the price of digital games, where did you hear that from?"
- @BitbyDeath
Game publishers have stated retail effects digital pricing.
The problem is many stores won't stock games if digital price is cheaper and most people still buy games in stores.
From Sony: "... we want to support a healthy retail channel, so it's not in our interest to go and seriously undermine retail." <...
"Thats Ubisoft, not EA though :p"
I was referring specifically to EA because of their "bullshots" of their sports games. EA UFC looked amazing ... in the ads, not so much in the game. Same for madden. Additionally EA got caught using screenshots from higher end platforms to market for their ps3, and xbox 360 versions of various sports games.
I expect:
- content removed to make DLC
- the game won't work on release
- any multiplayer features will be broken for months
- microtransactions
- amazing graphics in ads, mediocre graphics in game
I wonder if EA expects people to buy their games?

Since you guaranteed it we get our money back from you if we are not happy? ;-)
"Be quiet, stop telling creators what they can and can't do", says hypocritical title telling gamers what to do!
O.o
Self awareness 0/10!
@Foxtrot
Most people I know consider fallout to be a casual rpg series.
Nothing wrong with that just saying.
Do you work for gameinformer?
How can people disagree?
They announced the DLC before the game is released so yes they made the base game with DLC in mind.
The replies I'm getting are so ridiculous I can't help but laugh.
Microtransactions will continue as long as people continue to buy games that have them, and spend money on microtransactions.
@Spotie
Do you think large orifices on your face can breathe covered in cloth but small orifices can't?! O.o

I like the part where you made up that I had gender issues and then complained about it!
No truth, or facts but very creative!
Try this: take what ever you're wearing now as a top and pull it over your head. Try breathing.
Cloth has holes in it. She can wear normal clothing and breathe no problem.
It's Kotaku what did you expect?
Always online makes a game better! Just look at how good simcity was on release!
.... oh wait

You mean when the video game industry crashed because people stopped buying video games because companies were releasing broken, low quality, derivative games, at high prices?
