@Axios2
"It's same price with the extra content on X1 as it is on the others without the content, this is a good deal, jump on it and enjoy."
It's because most people want the content but don't want an xbox one.
@n4rc
You realize that you're a n4g user right?!
I wasn't sure if you were serious or not. Tone doesn't translate well to text!
Either way the www.esrb.org site is useful to some people who are skittish, and to parents who are buying games for their children.
@Goro
Did you know that there are rating systems so that people who are sensitive to this type of thing can find out before getting the game if it contains objectionable content?
Here is the rating for God of War III

Since everything Don Mattrick touches turns to shit I assume that would be the "Mattrick touch".
I think people are being a bit harsh towards him.
Most bioware games used to take three years to made. Mass Effect 3 was done in two. EA sets the budget and time frames for game development. Yes the ending for Mass Effect 3 seemed rushed but EA set the schedule. It's likely he tried to do the best ending he could in the time allotted.
Look at the bf3, bf4, simcity, etc fiascoes. Again EA forced games to be released before they were ready. I think bioware ...

"Diablo III console players might not get all future content updates."
“We're still working out all the details regarding if and how Ultimate Evil Edition will be supported post-launch,” a Blizzard community manager said on the game’s official forums. “(e.g. will we patch the game after it ships? if yes, should we only patch to fix bugs and address critical game issues, or should we patch in new content as well? at what frequency should...
@LazyGoron
Many years ago I used to be a PC gamer that got fed up with all the DRM they were putting in games. I didn't go into forums to complain about it I just stopped buying PC games.
Around the same time the PC game market plummeted and the console market became the largest market (PC games used to be the largest market). It turns out I was part of the silent majority that stopped buying PC games.
It seems like you believe "if t...
What percent of players are the "silent majority"?
@Detoxx
A beta is meant to test a game. They test stuff there. Understand?
Google these
- bf4 release problems
- does bf4 work yet
Community test environment sounds like a beta to me. Shouldn't this have been done before they released the game?
In unrelated news XBox One flops in China.
We meed 7! ;-)
The dancing alien is worth the price of the game alone! ;-)

Does anyone really hate games because of their budget?
Personally I never hated a game based on how much it cost to make. I only judge games based on if they are enjoyable or not.
Ouch!
"This travesty all started in 2004 when EA felt threatened by Take-Two's NFL 2k5. Not only was it a leaps and bounds improvement over Madden 04 with better gameplay and presentation, it was also budget priced at $19.99."

So today we have a worse game that costs more!?
Here is my idea: stop making annual sports games.
