@SCW1982
I downloaded the Vanquish demo and originally got owned by it. Eventually I was able to beat it after several tries then discovered there was a score, and time associated with beating it.
Comparing how I did to others I realized that I didn't do so well. So I tried to improve my score.
After a while I was able to finally beat it quickly and I looked at the clock and realized I had been playing the demo for over 5 hours!
...
I heard you get cooties from touching DS3! ;-)
Umm, what?
I experienced the following playing as a pure mage on master difficulty in skyrim.
Frost trolls were practically immortal until I leveled enough to do some serious damage. It took a while before I could hurt them faster than they could heal. For the longest time seeing a frost troll meant running away.
Bandit chefs were scary things to fight at level 10. They could use a power attack and one hit kill me on master.
...
The article missed dragons in skyrim.
Dragon encounters are leveled with the player so you're always strong enough to fight them.
I only played on master difficulty and they never seemed like much of a threat.
You forgot to mention the day one DLC!
For an additional $50 you can download a brand new feature that allows the watch to tell time during PM!
EA denies reports that the PM feature was removed from the watch to charge customers more.
In unrelated news: EA gets voted as the worst company in America for a second year!
The industry has changed but so have gamers.
Retail sales for games are down. It isn't one issue that is causing this but some gamers are adjusting their purchasing habits because they are not happy with the game industry.
Dead Space 3 is the first game in the series I won't be buying.
So you're saying it unbelievable that other people don't have the same opinion of a game that you do?
You do realize that from their perspective you're opinion doesn't match theirs?!
"The other 99% of games say hi back. LOL"
Top ps1 games:

The top 10 ps1 games has 3 Crash Bandicoot games, 2 final fantasy games, and 3 driving games.
Where are all the hardcore ps1 games?
Demon's Souls, and Dark Souls say hi!
Just because there are games for the casual market doesn't mean hardcore games aren't there for this generation of consoles.

"We Need To Appeal To Action Fans Who’ve Only Played Games On Their Phones"
Shouldn't they be making a game that appeals to Dead Space fans and console gamers ... because the game is a Dead Space game being released on a console!?
"Maybe next one could have tutorial on using features like coop."

"As for story, i only played 10hr and to the big blacksmith, which i accidently hit and he killed me every time i went downstairs."
Talk to Oswald at top of perish to be forgiven for your sins. Being forgiven costs souls.
You can also kill bl...
Dark Souls does have a story but it's no always in your face. Read item descriptions, talk to npcs and explore to find out the story.
Dark Souls also has co-op. You can summon other players to help with boss battles ... at a cost. Unhollowing (for co-op) also means other players can invade your world and try to kill you!
@Numphie
"I can't seem to fathom why no one would want to pick up this Darksiders franchise."
Darksiders II cost more money to make than it got back in revenue. It lost money.
I think the reason it didn't sell is people didn't think making a Darksiders III would make any money either.
It's unfortunate because the Darksiders series is so good.
@League_of_Draven
"Why? Don't you like overrated glitchy games?"
Personally, I prefer underrated stable games! ;-)
@NintendoDreamcastU
You do know that THQ filed for bankruptcy because not enough people bought their games right?!
If pirates win then there won't be a game industry anymore!
Darksiders II is better than Darksiders! ... and Darksiders is really good!
Hmm, I just logged out of psn. I was playing dark souls and everything was working fine for me.
Maybe it's a local thing? I'm in Canada.
The snow looks yellow in the video frame before the video starts.
Those necromorphs were busy! ;-)
'In it, he described EA and Visceral's focus on action in Dead Space 3 as a "necessary evil", claiming that - to reach a wider market and make the franchise profitable - this approach is the only way to go.'
I didn't buy Dead Space 3 because it focuses on action instead of being a horror game.
