When they started doing intrusive DRM on the PC the market turned into the tiny market it is today. I wouldn't call that getting away with it!
If they push intrusive DRM on all consoles I expect the console market to crash like the PC market did when they did it. If only one console does intrusive DRM then then they are giving the market to the other console(s).

'Cloud' is just a way of saying network service.
Any device attached to a network can take advantage of the 'Cloud' to enhance functionality. An example is a ps3 can't store thousands of movies but using a psn account you can get access to thousands of movies. This isn't some unique feature of the next xbox it's something every networked device can do now. It's something the current xbox 360 can do now!

When a person returns a game to gamestop they aren't given money they are given credit. This credit can only be used to get items at gamestop which most likely will be another game (some of which are bought new).
Developers do make money of used sales now!
I didn't buy simcity because of it's DRM so they lost at least one sale.

I meant EA released a game that didn't work.
I have no idea if the game works now. Why should I bother to check if the game is in a working state now if they weren't concerned if the game would work on release?

I'm against piracy but I am for games that work and EA failed in that regard.
If you read what Casey Hudson was saying about the ending about a year before the game was released it sounded amazing. The released product didn't match the initial vision. EA decides on the times and budget for the game. Mass Effect 3 ending looks like a budget issue, not a design issue. EA is at least partially to blame here.
Micro-transactions in Dead Space allow people to purchase weapon upgrades. It's essentially pay to win. This demeans people who play the game...
I think we need at least three more major disappointments! ;-)

With ps+ you pay a subscription fee to gain access to games and various other features. With XBL you pay a subscription fee for features that are free on the PC, and psn.
See the difference?

Another what if is if ps+ reaches over a hundred million users then Sony will have a huge amount of buying power to give publishing studios added incentive to create exclusive content for the ps4.
I think this is the more likely case because people actually want a ps4.
