It's spelled Lightning!
I won because I didn't buy SimCity so I never had any problems with their DRM!
OMG, another gears of war game is coming out soon!
*runs and hides*
Just kidding, there is only one GOW.

"if the server issues are prevalent, why weren't they obvious before launch?"
Some types of server issues only appear under heavy load. When reviewers played the game their weren't many players so they wouldn't have ran into the problems that users faced after the game was released.
@Shadow Flare
From the article you left a link for:
"But here we are today, with an estimated 77 million PS3s sold worldwide, about 23 million units behind the market leader, the Wii - and enough potential in the console to carry on past Nintendo's high-flying system."
Wii is in the highest selling console this generation so far and the ps3 needs to sell 23 million consoles to match it (assuming no additional wii's are sold)...
I think every Simcity user understands that DRM prevents them from playing their legally purchased game.
EA won't care about the petition but if you stop buying games from EA they will pay attention.
Hardcore gamers are a minority but they buy the majority of games.
I heard most gamers only get 2 or 3 games a YEAR! Seriously!!!
I used to get 2 or 3 games a month but since online passes, micro-transactions, incomplete editions (content removed to sell as DLC), buggy games on release, etc etc I rarely buy video games anymore.
Didn't the wii sell the most consoles? Didn't the wii sell the most games?
If the winner is defined by install base, or game sales then the wii won the console war this generation.
"Ever had to pay extra at a fast food joint to add cheese or bacon to your sandwich? That's a microtransaction."
So EA is behind that as well! EA is far more evil than I ever imagined! ;-)
I've been reading the Bethesda forums and about what exactly this does because the patch description wasn't very clear.
When you get a skill to 100 you are given the option to make it legendary.
A legendary skill is demoted to level 15 and any perks that have been spent in the perk tree are returned as unused perks. You keep your current character level. If you have 1 unspent perk and made a skill legendary that had 9 perks selected in it you would ha...
I think the problem with Dead Space 3 is they tried to make it appeal to a larger audience but by doing so they lost Dead Space fans.
Gaining some sales from the action crowd was offset by the loss in sales from the Dead Space fans.
Putting micro-transactions in the game didn't help either.
Lapse member: a ps+ user that let their subscription end.
Did you know EA didn't make any money from 2008 to 2011? They made a small amount of money in 2012 but managed to piss off so many customers that a lot of people won't buy EA products on principal.
I expect 2013 is going to be a very bad year for EA.

"If you don’t like, don’t buy it."
- Cliffy
I wonder if Cliffy knows the game industry is shrinking right now because people are buying fewer games.
... in unrelated news. EA game sales continue to fall.
The problem is if someone falls for it then discovers they were ripped off square could lose a customer permanently.
... in unrelated news games sales continue to decline!
I used to think top 10 lists where each item was on a separate page was the most annoying thing web designers could do.
I was wrong!
Now they have a top 10 list with each item on a separate page but you have to wait a week before you're allowed to see the next page!
New vegas actually does have level scaling but it's done much better than fallout 3, and skyrim.

You do realize that if everyone stopped buying games from them until versus is released they could go bankrupt and versus wouldn't ever be released.
