I thoroughly enjoyed The Order. It was stunningly gorgeous and the mythology was all very well set out. I found myself lingering around everywhere just to see all the details and immerse myself in the intricacies of the world. The storyline however, wasn't fully fleshed out and I would have much preferred cut scenes to all the stupid q.t.e.s but otherwise I think it was unfairly maligned in the media. It was also a bit short -I would have liked to have had more time to enjoy the great alt...
Nevermind. After reading through your comments, it's pretty clear you're a self-loathing misanthrope with shame issues around gaming and a hate-on for anyone who enjoys it without your hang-ups. I can't imagine why you come here... maybe to try to make others feel as bad about being a gamer as you do? Weird. I'm just gonna have to "ignore" you so I don't stumble across any more of your venom.
WTF? Are you referring to the A.D.D. author of the article?
One of the kids who works at the local independent game store said he thought it was great that I was getting into games at my age. I told him to f*ck off -that I've been gaming since his dad was wetting the bed.
I'll be playing 'til they pry the controller from my cold dead hands. Thankfully, my Mrs enjoys her gaming as much as I do.
Agreed. I have an empty spot on my shelf beside the GOTY editions of the previous games waiting to be filled with the complete edition.
Looks to me like he decided to see if he could cope without his meds for a while and it backfired. Hopefully, lesson learned and he can get back to his good work.
Ah yes, I see. My mistake. In that case, I definitely agree.
MachineGames, like CD Projekt, are devs you should put your support behind since they give more than they get (as compared to most others). They've got your interests as a gamer in mind first and foremost.
Plus the Wolfensteins are fantastic games.
That's it? It's only cool if you like looking at a static image of a toy robot. So, no it wasn't cool. It was just boring.
Gondola and Scientific Revenue are sleazy douchbags for coming up with such an exploitative scheme but ZeptoLab are even more vile douchebags for actually deploying it. Any game dev who does deserves to have all their content blacklisted.
@ TheCommentator
well, to each their own, but I personally think you're insane.
I agree. I would like to see them re-released in some format too. I spent some time prowling ebay trying to acquire some of the rarer ps2 horror titles for my collection like Haunting Ground, Kuon, Rule Of Rose, etc. but the prices were a bit too insane for me to justify.
It's not unusual to see them selling for $300usd or more, so instead I hope to stumble across them in a garage sale some day at a reasonable price.
Yeah, for the last 6 months, outside of a couple of discounts, it's essentially been worthless to me. The games they let you play without paying more have all been archaic crap I wouldn't have played 20 years ago and just about anything else that was actually worthwhile, I'd already long since purchased.
This month for example:
-Gauntlet: Slayer Edition -bought this when it was released.
-King’s Quest: Chapter 1 -Most episodic games give the first episode f...

Wow, that's one of the dumbest things I've read in a while. If you don't know anything about a subject... at all... you probably shouldn't opine about it, for reasons you've made obvious.
Games are not only art; over the last decade or so, they've been approaching the pinnacle of modern artistic expression.
I've always detested the battle mechanics employed by the FF series and Jrpgs in general for that matter. Maybe now I can learn to appreciate what every one else seems to love about the series as well (unless of course it WAS the old combat system).
Sure, maybe for the WHOLE game when it's released down the road.
Right, thank you for the info. Scratching "visit India" off my bucket list.
So there's no accommodation for those who bought the original hard copies of the games for ps2 and then bought them again on the ps3 via psn? Now you want us to buy the same games a third time on the ps4? Just go to hell.
Yeah, whatever. Too f*cking late. Do whatever you want. I'm not interested. I don't give a sh*t anymore.
WTF does that even mean? Clarify.
