@mrcash
I completely agree, I was honestly expecting more from Killzone 2 on the destructible environments. Thanks for elaborating more to. I liked both games, but I gotta give the upper hand to BFBC2, best multiplayer I've ever played.
@mrcash
Battlefield Bad Company 2, I agree, closest we get to realism as far as shotting mechanics. But next is Killzone, most other shooters are just too twitchy. Also, remember shooters are twitchy because its easier and more "fun" for some people.
@BiggCMan, its funny cause a lot of people are saying similar things about Halo, "reach has a good chance obviously cuz its halo". It seems like it has reduced to just hearing the name Halo and BOOOM, GOTY. Best game ever, Most anticipated game of 2010, even though Black Ops (which I ain't getting) probably out preordered it.
I got nothing against Halo, I just think its silly that a simple name can automatically make a game good. I like to wait for a game bef...
@8800gtx
Maybe they're engine only can run at 720p, which isn't bad mind you, since most games cant even run in native HD, most of them are upscaled. But maybe they're engine runs at that resolution because of all the effects the games have. There is a lot of particle effects and action going on in the Killzone games, Killzone 3 looks like its gonna take it to another level.
Granted, they could probably make a better engine for future games, but...
I agree those features would be nice BloodyNapkin. But I'm not going to pay $50 just to have those features, it just seems ridiculous to me. And yes I've played Live alot, on my bros name, he pays for it and is even ready to stop.
And PS+ isn't a bad service, and is completely optional. I would say Live is optional to, but in reality it is not, when you buy a game to play multiplayer you shouldn't have to pay for it again. What's gonna happen when EA a...
Hey Blackbeld, just curious, when did Sony say PS+ was gonna get cross game chat? And if they didn't who did?
To be honest no, most of what I've seen can be seen on the PS2 EyeToy about 6 years ago. Don't believe? Just youtube Eye Toy Party, it's a spanish video. And to be honest, the Eye Toy in that video looks more responsive than Kinect does right now. And Kinect has got to be close to out of Beta people, so don't say "it's not out, cant judge it"
But the only game I've recently seen that shows some 3D potential is Kinectimals. Sure it's a...
haha, thats why I wear my glasses. Nah just kidding, but you made me laugh, I agree with you.
@Shadow, I agree with you, I read the article and it doesn't seem like they are really "excited" about Kinect, granted a few were, so don't get me wrong. But all in all it just seems like the talk is about possibilities. And most of that talk is from Microsoft. E3 passed, GamesCon is coming up, if your device is going to release this November you need to SHOW those possibilities in a game.
And for those talking about pre orders, MS have been advertising K...
Just curious, why is it a scam to you?
EDIT: If you do reply, make it meaningful haha, I'm outta bubbles to reply back.
I can't get in either. I entered my stuff and it said Loading in red letters, but then it just went back to the main screen. I'm a plus member by the way
Sick, just epic, hopefully Playstation Plus subs get a taste of that Beta action.
I think its funny the Left Stick on the 360 controller is supposed to be more ergonomic, since its the thumbs natural position. That may be true, but that would make the controller unbalanced, since the Right Stick is down where the DS3's Right Stick is. So by those means the DS3 is more balanced.
Idk, dont mean to start anything, just using some logic there.
To go off your second point about Six Axis. What does Wii Motion Plus add? The other 2 axis's that Six Axis covers, so didn't Nintendo copy Sony on that? HMMMMMMMM. IDK. But seriously, like I said earlier, if it aint broke why fix it? They work, so don't change em.
I agree, controller designs are all roughly the same, for one simple reason, it works. Sure some put triggers here and analogs there, but when it comes down to it the Dualshock controller is the same rough design its been for the longest time.
HAHA, that frog was annoying as shit. I miss that game though.
I actually just rewatched the E3 demo from this year. I have to say the gameplay looks okay. But I'm really not understanding what is so special about the games graphics. I keep hearing how its going to be a "Killzone Killer", but I'm just not seeing it. The environments looks good, but as a whole the game just doesn't look like it is setting the next graphical benchmark to me yet. Maybe the final game will prove me wrong. But I must say, it already looks better th...
I agree with you completely. MOH was alright from the Beta, but def needed to work out some bugs and other issues. MW got old really quick right after I played the BFBC2 Beta. The gameplay in BFBC2 was just amazing, had the perfect weight for me, plus the extra skill needed to actually snipe people since the bullets have weight to. MW's maps are just too small for me now after playing BF. Its to twitchy as well.
I also like the leveling system in BFBC2. Everyone get...
Haha, gotta get married in Game Room. I'm only kidding.
That is your opinion, and I will respect it. However I would suggest you try some other console exclusives and stuff, you might like a few of 'em.
If you have all three consoles then grab some of the cheaper games, the greatest hits, or just go to a friends house a play a few. LBP was pretty neat.
