I guess you think the HARDWARE was the reason PSN went down?

Or you think they are going to scrap PSN and make a brand new online service?

Both are wrong, but are the only reasons for you to make such a claim.

Something tells me that statement is taken out of context. Maybe it was easier to get the Xbox version to around 60 FPS, but that does NOT mean the PS3 version won't reach 60 FPS.

It is also likely that the PS3 version is more stable, given what I've been seeing lately with Multi Platform titles like L.A. Noire.

I fail to see why the game RAGE can't look "next gen" this gen on the PS3 or PC.

Yes it is easier to develop for the Xbox 360, but there is more horsepower in the PS3 and the majority of modern day gaming PC's.

Also John Carmack is supposed to be a genius, so I would assume he would push the exact same if not slightly better quality performance/visuals out of the PC and PS3.

I used GameFly as well, the trial. Wasn't very impressed with the delivery time on the games.

But I know GameFly just recently won a lawsuit that showed the USPS was discriminating against GameFly packages. They were withholding delivery to ensure it took longer for the games to get to customers.

Maybe we will see an increase in delivery speed after the lawsuit is all wrapped up and the discrimination stops.

Giant Enemy Crab.

lol, that was hilarious, based on actual battles that took place.

I also thought Skittles was sort of amusing.

Well, if not at E3, then at TGS. Simple as that.

The price of producing the PS3 goes down year by year. I know this because it's a simple fact. A GTX 580 next year is going to cost less to produce than this year.

But at the same time hoping for a $199 PS3 is a bit optimistic, maybe a $249. But I'm an optimistic kind a guy.

I don't mean to insinuate anything, but no mention at all of the Killzone series?

Other than that it's decent list, but some more games could definitely make their way to that list.

Yea, like they did with the 120GB, phase it out, lower the price on the 160 and 320 to introduce a new 500GB model or something along those lines.

I watched the past few years through a stream, or a post recording, or a live blog. So they should have something out there. Even if its a third party website, not Sony themselves.

Wow, first the Target deal, now this. Is someone trying to tell me something? Time to upgrade from my old Phat?

But I'm so tempted to wait until E3, never know what might happen as far as retail deals and price drops.

Hey, just as a note, I didn't disagree with you.

But I enjoy trophies. They give me a reason to replay a game sometimes. Also create a sense of accomplishment when I do something hard. Plus I can show it off to friends who don't believe I did what I say I did.

Now there are people out there who only play for trophies, I was like that for a few months a year back. But there is nothing wrong with that. If all a gamer wants in the satisfaction of ge...

I think he was saying the opposite. That it wont be back up tomorrow.

MK requires an online pass to play online, and if the store was coming back up tomorrow, free access would not have been granted today.

If the store was coming back tomorrow they would have simply held out another day, making players wait to redeem their online passes when the store returns.

I hope I clarified his comment. These aren't my views, just Hasj1990's ...

I agree that Sony could have played the safe route and simply made a more powerful GPU and used more RAM.

But Sony has been known for pushing the envelope, which is what they did when designing the Cell architecture. The same can be said about Bluray.

Now we all know that Bluray has indeed paid off for Sony, clearly showing its superiority to other HD formats on the market. The Cell on the other hand wasn't as big of a success. But how would we have ne...

Loved me some Socom 2 online. Couldn't get enough of it. Still look at that time as one of my best multiplayer experiences, minus the spawn camping in the occasional match haha.

950,000? That's sort of low balling it when they already said they sold to retail 8 million Moves.

Unless you were going for 9,500,000. Then it makes sense.

The article has a source that says the Xbox 360 is more than capable of doing stereoscopic 3D.

If they are referring to HD 3D then it is a complete lie.

The framebuffer is not large enough, 10MB, to output a true HD 3D 720p frame, which would require 14MB. Also the HDMI port being 1.2 revision, when you need an HDMI 1.4 port. The PS3 had a 1.3 port that was upgraded through software to 1.4. I do not think that same upgrade is available from 1.2 to 1.4, the...

That's the impression I was getting from every article on the matter a few months back. Guess not.

Same here, I have a CECHH 40GB model. Working fine. The fan kicked on pretty high sometimes, but that could be attributed to the new thermal paste I just installed. It won't be completely effective until curred. It's getting better and better as the days go on.

@Heller,

Exactly how I feel, I'm in the same situation as Taco.

But I suppose it's no different than iTunes. Don't they keep your credit card info just to have an account?

But at least on iTunes you can remove your credit card info from your PC when you decide to. With Xbox Live you have to log into a PC or web enabled phone to take it off your console. If you enter it on your console, why not allow it to be removed through you...

IGN: "Imagining The Next L.A. Noire"

BrianG: "Enjoying The Current L.A. Noire"

Game just came out and some are already looking for a sequel. I must admit if there was a sequel it would be a day 1 buy based on my experience with this game.
