No way is rumble support the reason for a short delay. Konami has had plenty of time already to add the rumble support. The only reason for the delay is Kojima needs a little more time to make the game how he wants it. MGS4 is one game that needs to be given as much time as needed. Why does it matter if it comes out in the winter or spring? It will be out eventually.
I never pay attention to actual reviews in their magazines. They seem to have terrible taste when it comes to games they like. Pixeljunk Racer gets an 8 and R&C a 6? Wacky Brits.
Fghters are so boring. There's nothing to see here folks. Lets move along.
Does K-Mart even exist anymore? I guess I have a couple around me. Not that I ever shop there. Everything is usually all over the floor. I wouldn't worry about this one Blu-ray.
How about at least giving a big game to a reviewer who likes the genre? I want to know, does Aaron Thomas even like platformers? Most of his good reviews are sports games. Gamespot says on their site they won't give a sports game to a reviewer who doesn't at least like sports games. You want the opinion of someone who at least likes the genre to begin with. Gamespot just doesn't seem to care about their reputation. It isn't aaronthomas.com, it's gamespot.com. Gamers don't go to the site to ge...
I say the next R&C game should have lots of sports mini games in it. Maybe that will get them a perfect score from you know who.
You're missing the BIG picture. All consoles need time and money invested to learn them. Of the three consoles only the PS3 is a true HD console. The Wii is just a toy. The 360 uses DVD which is already holding developers back. So learn to tap the power of the real HD console and make games for it for the next 5+ years. You don't invest time and money to learn a console that will be dead soon. The PS3 has years left before it's replaced.
The PS3 is complicated to program for but the Ps3 ports of 360 games still look about as good as the 360 versions. That's saying something. Sony designs their console to last for years. Early on it's harder to make games that take advantage of all the power. But over the years the games just keep getting better and better. The 360 from what I've read is close to being 100% maxxed out on power. Soon the PC versions of games will look a lot better than the 360 games. All the 360 really is anywa...
What do you mean you're still confused by the controller? The PS3 contoller confuses you? If so, how? It's a great controller. What'sto be confused about?
Who pays that guy for his opinion? Blu-ray is already looking great. The 360 has DVD and a lot of developers hate making games for the360 because of DVD. It's way too limiting. When you go HD on everything you need huge space to fit everything. I promise you, in a year from today Sony will be looking smart. That's when we'll be seeing a huge difference in 360 and PS3 games. Unless third party developers just keep giving us crappy ports of 360 games. At least Sony games and games only made for...
I read one review where the guy said hopefully Insomniac will have a patch that will give us online multiplayer in R&CF. That's too much. I like online games but I don't feel all of them need it. I like single player games too. If all we get is online multiplayer games in the future gaming will suck. They're all too much alike. Maybe the next R&C game will use the current world and let us play online. I just don't care about it in this game. Leave it for the future.
Why should no multiplayer hurt the game? Does every game now have to include multiplayer or the score is lower? I could care less about online or even offline multiplayer.
If you were buying the PS3 version of Blacksite just forget about it. From what I read yesterday the PS3 version isn't getting much as far as online features. Midway seems to be going the lazy way on that game. The 360 version will get all the features. The PS3 version gets almost nothing. Why bother making the game if that's their attitude?
The person who wrote the review doesn't seem to understand how games are made. A patch to give us multiplayer? Right. Try a whole new game. R&CF was created as a single player game. It wasn't meant to have more players. No patch can add the feature. It would need a whole new game.
But I'm with you. No thanks on that idea. Why do so many people think all games need multiplayer? I don't think so. It would be fun to have a game with that world but I don't care that R&CF is...
If Microsoft does release a new 360 with a built-in HD DVD drive it will only help Sony. Microsoft will have to charge more for this 360 than a PS3 costs or they'll have to take a big loss on each HD DVD drive they sell in these 360s. Either way it's not good for Microsoft. Sony looks smart because for a little more than the 360 already their PS3 can play Blu-ray movies and use the Blu-ray drive for games. The new 360 will play HD DVD movies but no way will it ever be used for games. Can anyo...
Was this posted by some Xbox fan to make GT look bad? This interview was posted last week I believe on this site. That should be enough. Why was it posted again with a new spin?
I'm getting tired of all these dumb attacks on Sony and the PS3. And especially this new model at $399. Sony is doing what they can to drop the price. They can't get rid of the important parts that would really drop the price. If they did that it would be the PS2.5 instead of PS3. Time for people to stop talking about the price of the PS3. If you can't afford a PS3 you can't afford gaming period.
I ask you how old you are because you seem to have forgot the whole PS2/DVD player story. Don't you remember how expensive DVD players were when the PS2 came out? In Japan alone DVDs caught on because the PS2 came out and was really cheap compared to DVD players. The PS2 brought the price of DVD players way down. Of course most people no longer use the PS2 as their DVD player but back when the PS2 came out a lot of people did.
There were some issues with the PS2 as a DVD player...
The latest issue of EGM has an article on how the Wii and DS have become the gaming consoles of crap. They're right. Nintendo doesn't care about quality anymore. Just quantity. It's a great article if anyone hasn't read it yet. It's the November issue. They talk about how anyone can get a game approved by Nintendo while Sony and Microsoft are much tougher. They actually don't want their gamers ripped off by a lot of bad games.
Yeah, right. Like you can buy a Wii. Nintendo refuses to make enough Wiis so you can even buy one. I don't think they exist actually. I've never seen one. I think it's just a myth.
